I got these because Sam's Club no longer carries the large cans of Virginia peanuts (please bring them back!). I didn't like these, had an odd taste--not rancid, just one that was unpleasant and off-putting. I'll give them away; maybe someone else will like them.

Wish you could get these at the store and buy just one box of 48 like we used to be able to do. So many things are not being carried in store or not at all. Son is only one that can eat these and he takes with him when he is coaching high school or rec ball. Easy to carry, good protein, helps him last until he gets home for a meal.

I bought four boxes (96 bags). Many of the little bags are not sealed (the seam line where the plastic edges are pressed together perhaps with heat?) - there is a 2-3 inch opening if you lift the overlapped edge. The batch number is 26FEB21E71. As a result, the peanuts hardly have any taste. The sealed ones are ok. A few weeks ago I called the toll free number to report this quality issue. They said they would send me some coupons which are yet to arrive.
