Haven't opened the cans yet, but have been happy with them in smaller 1 pound jars in the past. Would rather have larger plastic square jars like other nuts come in instead of the cardboard tube cans. Or, a metal can, like coffee cans with good fitting lid.

I tried Members Mark brand since that's all they sell at Sam's in a larger quantity...just not as good as these. Order Planters online, it's worth it.

I wish these were carried in the club instead of my having to have them shipped. I do not like the dry roasted peanuts that are carried in the club - I tried them after you stopped selling Planters in the club. I am happy that I can buy them through Sam's for a better price than I had been buying them from GFS.

These are really good!

These are pretty good peanuts. They are well priced. The only complaint I have about them are the “extra” ingredients. They do have sea salt as advertised, but they have other things like celery powder and sugar. The amounts are negligible, but for what I use it for (to make peanut butter) I was hoping to find some with either with only salt, or not salted. It still makes good peanut butter, way better than any store bought kind.

I've been buying Planters peanuts for decades and until within the last 2 years or so, the quality has been excellent. But lately I've noticed little things, like one canister being overroasted or with less salt coating than another. If I wait a month or so and buy again, I might get luckly and get a good batch.

3 of the four containers were damaged. The shipping boxes were undamaged, but the product containers had large dents in most of them. Although these were damaged, the contents were not. It just appears that someone saw the problem, but since the contents weren’t spilling out, they sent them anyway. As the customer, I am not happy with this matter. If I shopped in a store, I’d never select these containers.

After a few days of receiving them, they started to taste old with a rotten taste.

Ordered Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts (52 oz.) in spite of the INGREDIENT list not being posted on the site, and had to return because they are not just peanuts and salt. I was hedging my bet based upon the carbs and compared to the 16 oz container Planters makes that ARE just peanuts and salt. My bad.
