We (cousins) grew up having “coffee- milk” while the grownups gathered on our grandmothers front porch in the Hickory Grove community of Rapides Parish, Louisiana after Sunday dinner or around 4 PM weekdays, having BOILING HOT coffee. At home, Mama preferred instant Tasters Choice, and until I was 40 y/o, was the only one, while visiting my grandmother, never had a cup coffee (yes, it was always noticed…after all I’m talking about Louisiana!!!). So, one day while visiting Sam’s Club I noticed her coffee and made a (teary-eyed emotional) purchase. Now, I have it shipped, plus different sugar-free coffee syrups directly to me and no shipping cost as a ‘plus’ member.
