The quality and complex flavoring of this product is outstanding. No more Swiss Miss hot cocoa ever again. Requires milk, not water. Best made with whole milk but 2% works okay.

One of my favorite chocolates to make , gives me memories of my childhood! I love watching it dissolve in the milk and it boils . One of my favorite drinks during Christmas time or any rainy cold days .

Not instant, but worth the difference on a cold morning with a spicy tang. I suggest three cups of milk instead of four ... two if you like it dark. A barrista's powered wisk helps smooth out the chunks.

The best Mexican hot chocolate in my opinion. It’s very rich and perfect amount of sweetness. Perfect treat for the holidays. Easy to prepare and lasts a good amount of time.

This is one of the most discussing hot chocolate mixes I’ve ever had. My stepmom used to make this for me when I was a kid and I had such a hard time drinking it do not recommend.

Bought this on a lark to please someone and it backfired big time. Used 1/4 tablet in a cup of heated almond milk for my girlfriend on New Year's Day. She let me taste it before she threw it out. It was nasty. No discernable chocolate flavor and just a weird off taste. I could have easily made her happy with a packet of Swiss Miss. If your abuelita serves this to you, she must hate you.

I definitely love chocolate abuelita when the weather is cold. The texture is a hard chocolately tablet. The aroma is chocolate, and the dissolving method is just stirring. Til it melts inside the pot. When it boils it turns into a foamy, that's when you know the chocolate abuelita is ready.

The description of what I ordered was unclear and I didn't realize it was tablets. They are hard to desolve. It took about 15 minutes boiling in water and there was still some small grains of the product that didn't dissolve. The taste was not as good as the packets of powder.

Good product
