This chocolate is great especialy when hot especially during the winter. Goes great with Mexican Sweet Bread like conchas, empanadas de pina. Defenitely recommend for others enjoy this flavorful chocolate.

Best mexican hot chocolate hands down!! I tried the ibarra brand and it taste like chile mixed with chocolate, i didnt like that brand. Abuelita is the best! The trick to this hot chocolate is to heat up the milk along with the chocolate and once the chocolate is dissolving, let it cool down a little, put it in the blender and blend it. It comes out with a thick layer of foam on top and its delicious! Definitely reccomend it!

Unless you've tried this product, you won't understand how different it is from regular hot cocoa. The sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon gives the cocoa a whole different flavor.

We bought these to give them a try and were quite pleased with them. We are making another round of hot chocolate with them tonight trying to stay warm! It taste a little different from regular hot chocolate but not real noticeable. We used 1 tablet and made 3 good size cups of hot chocolate and put whipped cream on top and enjoyed it as did our 12 year old grandson who was visiting us at the time. He asked me to either save 1 tablet for when he comes back or to purchase another pack of them before he comes....he liked it that much.

Best mexican style coco you can buy. This is the real traditional kind. My family loves the hints of cinamon favor.

These tablets take a few minutes to melt and each tablet makes 4 cups of hot chocolate. You can cut them for individual portions but they're quite thick. They have a hint of cinnamon so they're a little different. I liked them but my teens didn't care for them. I am glad we gave them a try but probably won't continue to use them.

I was expecting a spicy Mexican hot chocolate. This is just a thick disc of come kind of chocolate, scored into 4, so each disc makes 4 cups and you need milk for this kind. Difficult to break if you want just one piece for one cup. The taste just wasn't there for me. It left lots of waxy sludge in the bottom of the cup. Such a waste, esp when there are 2 packs each purchase.

This is not real chocolate. I need this for a recipe. If you had Ibarra, that would be better since it is real Mexican chocolate.

The product is wonderful, but the shipping is a disaster! I've ordered twice. Both times my order arrived there was no packing and the boxes of chocolate tablets were torn or broken and the tablets of chocolate were scattered around in the over sized box.
