I've ALWAYS used Nestle chips. I've made chocolate covered peanut butter balls at Christmas for years. Always melt the chips in my double boiler and dunk them in there. Then refrigerate. Usually when I take them out of the refrigerator & put on a tray for parties they're fine for a long time. This year the chocolate got soft after just a few minutes! Very disappointing!

Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels are very tasty. They work well in many recipes. I have used them in chocolate chip cookies, banana muffins, granola, and many other recipes. I have always been pleased with whatever I have made using Nestle Morsels. I enjoy trying new recipes I find on the packages and on the website.

I live in France and paid a small fortune to buy several packages of these from a specialized vendor...only to have to put them in the trash because they do not melt. Instead they turn into a weird mush with syrofoam consistency. Not something I plan to feed to my kids.

I have used many different name brands of chocolate morsels for various desserts: cookies, brownies, blondies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, etc. In my opinion, Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels are the best. They melt perfectly and taste the best.

I've been making holiday recipes with my mom for over 30 years. This year none of the recipes that used the Nestle morsels turned out well at all. The morsels didn't melt or firm up again like chocolate should. We couldn't use any of the goodies we baked using the chips on our cookie trays.

This is not actually a new problem. I actually noticed this happening five or ten years ago. Your morsels WILL NOT FULLY MELT in the family fudge recipe that has been used for over fifty years. If I waited until they were fully melted the fudge would be too cold to pour out of the kettle. When did you change the melting point of the chips and WHY??? I suspect you wanted to improve their behavior in cookies, which is fine I suppose, but I have had to adjust my standards for fudge to include small intractable lumps of chocolate in what should have a smooth mouthfeel.

I have made Toll House Cookies for years and love them. But the cookies are not always big enough! I started making them in a pan so they are thicker and I can cut them any size I want. Sooooo good, great for holidays but just about anytime much welcomed!

By the time I reached for my camera to take a photo, there were about a dozen cookies remaining on the plate. They went fast. My family practically inhaled them!
