I made those cookies, Tollhouse Chip cookies with both with golden and dark chocolate Tollhouse chips! I got 2 dozen medium sized cookies. I am planning to make Dinosaur sized cookies, ever since I saw them at Hy-Vee. I'm on a project. Mission: Dinosaur Tollhouse chip cookies extra large cookies for sure!

I like simple things. Simple means using a good quality boxed brownie mix and adding a half a cup of Nestlé's Semi-Sweet chocolate to the batter. Then I pour some on top of the brownies before putting into the oven as well. I am careful not to overcook the brownies ensuring that they'll be gooey. Everyone just loves my brownies!!

Nestle Toll House semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels remain a staple in my pantry. A big bonus is the Toll House recipe on the back of the bag so you don't even have to hunt around for your recipe. The cookie dough is so versital. You can dress it up with cranberries, nuts or mix in white chocolate or both. Put some cookie dough in a desert cup and bake. Top with ice cream and a strawberry for fancy deserts. It's all good.

I have used the same fudge recipe since the 1980s and have never ruined it. It always turns out nice and smooth and creamy. Everybody loves it and requests it. This year, I ruined 3 batches, thinking I was somehow doing something wrong, so sadly I kept trying again. The chocolate was not melting right and it was super grainy. My son dubbed it "sandcastle fudge." It was horrible. I will never use Nestle again. I always use pure cane sugar too, not beet. Nestle, are you now using beet sugar in your chocolate? Beet is not good for candy making. Husband just went to the store for a different brand of chocolate and we are hopeful it will turn out this time.

I've been baking { and eating} chocolate chip cookies for years. nestle was always the best. But... now...nestle chips have changed. and not just a little. they don't taste like chocolate anymore, just sweet, and they don't melt the same way. its enough of a change that the original tollhouse recipe just doesn't work. the flavor is off. and the texture. sorry bakers, if you want to make the tollhouse cookies you remember your mom making, you'll need to try another chocolate chip. and nestle, please explain? any suggestions for making good cookies again?

I've used these chocolate chips since I was 5 years old, my Mom would make chocolate banana bread with them, and it was, and is, my favorite thing. I plan to use these chocolate chips until the day I die. I am disappointed however, I just opened a new bag, with the new packaging, and compared it to the old bag, with the old packaging, and noticed a change in the taste. I wouldn't dare give a bad review for this, but having read the other reviews, it seems others have noticed this too. Hopefully this is not a permanent change, but I wanted to voice that I noticed the change.

I used to be a big fan of cookies made with Nestle chocolate chips, and I'd occasionally eat a few chips directly from the bag for a chocolate snack. Now I won't eat the chips or the cookies as, to my taste, the chips have an unappealing, slightly coconut-oil flavor that they never used to have. I've just noticed this new taste over the last year or so. It is evident to me from tasting the chips themselves, as well as in the taste of cookies made by others who have used Nestle chips. Hoping Nestle can rectify this.

These are the best chocolate chips! I use them all the time in my cookies and they always come out so good and tasty. I recently made a batch of cowboy cookies which are my family's favorite and the cookies disappeared overnight. We also use these chips in our chocolate chip and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and they also come out great. We love cookies and always use Nestle Toll House chips in them. These chips have a great taste and are not too sweet. They keep their shape nicely in my cookies and dont melt into a puddle while baking.
