What happened to the chips? Last night I was making bars for a work potluck and when it came time to melt the chocolate chips, they never properly melted, just turned grainy and clumpy. I thought, "oh ok, maybe I burned this batch" so I had to run out to my local grocery store and picked up 2 more bags just in case it happened a second time. I attempted to melt them again and the same thing happened. :( I ended up spreading the grainy/clumpy mixture on my bars because I didn't want to waste any more money trying to fix it. My grandma had the same problems and she has been making these same bars forever! Unfortunately I will be buying Hershey's or Ghiradelli from now on, I know those melt and give me the smooth shiny texture I am looking for. Very disappointing Toll House.

The things and recipes you can use the morsels in are so many. I love trying new recipes all the time and the recipe must have Nestle's in it. I am losing my sight so my recipes have slowed somewhat but at any given time you will find several bags of them in my fridge. Thank you for a great product.

I can not make a chocolate chip cookie without genuine Nestles chocolate chips.When I bake for family and friends I try to use the best ingredients I can find.I love all the different chips they sell.I will be using the mini chips in my NY cheese cake this week.

We were recently in Florida and had a craving for chocolate chip cookies. My sister and I went to the store and purchased the ingredients and went home and started baking. We baked a few cookies at a time so we could enjoy hot cookies straight from the oven. I enjoy using all the chips available. I bake Oatmeal Skotchies, Chocolate cookies with the white chips, Peanut Butter chips in white or chocolate cookies. I will use them all and try anything at least once.

Household Staple Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels have been a staple in our home all my life and in our catering company for over 20 years. We we present guests or family with warm house made chocolate chip cookies, it is perfect. We have also found traditional Toll House Cookies to be an awesome sweet finish to a formal wine paired meal.

I have tried cheaper brands, but what's that old saying you get what you paid for!! Nothing compares to the perfect blend of either sweetness or simple chocolately goodness when needed for baking recipes!! My grandkids even love eating them right outta the bag too!!

As I can see from so many of these reviews, I'm not going nuts either! I don't bake now as much as I used to, and every time I've tried to make recipes that were wonderful (once upon a time) lately, I thought it was me! That I was somehow not making them right. I always blame myself first. I made some toll house cookies today. Yuck. What a waste of time and materials (and $). Won't be making them with Nestle's morsels any more. This is the first time since Christmas that I've tried using them in a recipe. I thought I must have made some kind of mistake then as well, and as a result, haven't been especially inspired to try again. They have changed. They are not at all the same product we used to rely on. What a darn shame. Their taste and texture are totally different. If you've done this to cut corners, you're making a mistake! If keeping them the same means they're more expensive - most people would probably gladly pay a bit more for the quality we've come to rely upon. If I could have given them less than one star - I would have! How could you?

These are high quality chocolate chips that I've loved forever! There are no other chips on the market that compare to these! Love baking with them every holiday season and throughout the year. I've tried others in the past but wouldn't use anything else.

I have been making Christmas Cracker Candy for my son for 20 some years. I have NEVER had a failure. The morsels wouldn't melt properly, in order to spread the chocolate.
