- 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017My kids are all grown up and so are my 9 grandchildren but they all come and the first thing they go to the cookie jar there better be Nestle cookies in there if not they have no trouble to get baking them before lone the cookie jar is full. Good kids.
the best
TailorOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/10/2024I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels are some of the best I have used. They have a smooth, creamy texture and a rich, deep chocolate taste. I made chocolate chip cookies (my favorite cookie) with them and was pleased with the way the chocolate barely melted, but still held it's shape in the cookie. I also ate several straight out of the bag and noted that they were smoother than the store brand.
Very Good Chocolate Chips
CatieOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017Occasionally in the past, I have tried other brands of chocolate chips/morsels. Simply put, none compare to Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels. They stand alone as the best. They make the best tasting addition to cookies, pies, cakes, and even alone as a snack! There's no sense wasting your money purchasing any other brand of chocolate chip.
The Only Brand to Use!
sueb58Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I've been a home baker for almost 30 years! This is the only brand I'll buy when making dessert and sweet snacks for any of my 6 kids! I recently baked 160 chocolate, chocolate chip cookies for my son who's 25 to take to work for his Halloween party! Rave reviews to say the least! I'm a loyal fan of Nestle's!
Best semi-sweet flavor around!
DaisieWOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/22/2015I noticed something different with the semi-sweet morsels as far back as last January but thought it was something I did wrong and simply ignored it; I mostly use the chips throughout the year to make cookies. Except for Christmas. I use about ten large bags for various fudge, almond roca and other candies to give away as gifts. I just made the almond roca to take to a party but the chips never melted, it was horrible as I didn't have time to re-make them. I was embarrassed to say the least, they looked so terrible. My request is to return to the original recipe or add a product line that gives me what I need. I just went to the store and bought some Baker's semi-sweet squares because I know they melt, i've got a lot of baking left to do!
My chips don't melt either !!!!
MeltmychipsOriginally posted onverybestbaking.comverybestbakingpwrThank you for your review and allowing us to be a part of your everyday. We appreciate your honesty and want to help. Please ... - 5 out of 5 stars review3/11/2024I made the recipe from the bag. I did not use nuts & should have added a little more flour. So they flattened more than expected. Yet,still as tasty as anticipated. These are the best chocolate chips around. I will definitely buy them again and I highly recommend them. I received this product for free to review. All opinions are my own.
Always the best
VspOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/18/2017May be in not s pro; but I am having a hard time melting the white chocolate ; I am using the double boiler and even tried adding a little butter , for it just won't melt into a smooth liquid... it stated dehydrating ... I had to throw the entire batch .... now going back to the semi sweet ... I wanted to make some truffles and though I got some nice consistency adding heavy cream ... but they truffles will just melt in the room temperature... even when I am rolling the small balls with my hand they will just start melting... what I am doing wrong
Chocolate won't melt or melting at room temperatur

Please expect an email from us.,Nestle Baking,Sab... - 5 out of 5 stars review2/26/2024Nestlé Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels! You can pay more than $2 each for delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries, or make them yourself just how you like them. Melt ¾ cup of chips and ½ tsp shortening in the microwave or over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth. Dip strawberries, graham crackers, or apple or pear slices in the mixture. Let set in the refrigerator. So easy! I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. #ad
Keep a bag in your cupboard!
AdelaOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I recently began learning how to make scones. I've never worked with that type of dough, or had to let a dough rise prior to this new adventure. I tried them a couple of times but something was missing. Then I looked in my cooking cupboard and saw the mini chips from Nestle Toll House, and I knew what they were missing! I added a 1/3 of cup of mini chips to my scones and they were amazing! Now I add other ingredients, but it always gets mini chips to make it "Mom's special scone recipe".
Scrumptious Scones
Karen HolmanOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017Nestle has been the one and only go to chocolate morsel all my life, yet all these others come out and so well - why not- I gave them a shot. And proved all over again Nestle is the best in flavor, texture and baking! Thanks for a great reliable product.
The Best
OkcManOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017My company always requests these cookies. I just purchased the semi-sweet morsels this week as I will be baking them for my Thanksgiving guests. What they don't eat, they find room in their luggage to take the rest home with them! They are truly delicious.
My company always requests these cookies!
GroovieOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 4 out of 5 stars review12/19/2017I make tons of dozens of these every holiday because they are so darn good. Plus, I make them for my staff, mail lady, sanitation guys, water guy....you get the point. I bake them on a pan that I don't ever use for anything else, bake them at 375, but I only bake them for 7 to 8 minutes. I package them asap to keep them soft.
Delicious and easy
Roo33Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/22/2017We have used these morsels to cover nuts every year for Christmas for over a decade. This year we have ruined 3 batches because the morsels aren't melting smoothly like they used to. We thought at first we had old morsels so we bought another bag. Those did the same thing. We are not doing anything differently than past years. Very disappointing

Expect an email from us shortly.,Toll House,Laurie, clientresponse - 5 out of 5 stars review11/5/2017I am a disabled senior and baking is difficult, but I am a chocolate addict. I use a chocolate cake mix, 1 cube of butter, one egg and 1-2 tablespoons of water. Hand mix completely and then add 1/2 cup of Tollhouse semi sweet chips and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. They are delicious.

Gretchen60Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/15/2024I made a giant cookie cake for my daughters 14th birthday. We used to be able to buy these in the mall but it's been gone a long time so I was so happy to find this recipe. The Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels are a perfect addition to this giant cookie. There is no downside! I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
Toll House - what's not to love?
KathyFOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/16/2018Very disappointed ! I have made your chocolate chip cookies for years. I was very disappointed after making them this evening. Something has changed... they took forever to brown. The chocolate chips came out hard instead of melting and the cookies were very flat. Something wasn't right and was so disappointed.
Very Disappointed
Missy72Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/3/2019I had a bag of the old semi sweet chunks next to a bag of the new semi sweet chips and the old ones taste richer and smoother than the new ones. The package says same taste but that is DEFINITELY NOT the case. The new version is gross, practically inedible. I will not be purchasing these anymore.
I'm not sure what changed
Kimmy91311Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I love Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels. I often eat these right ouf the bag as a snack when I am craving chocolate, but do not want all the calories of a candy bar. They are also great in many recipes or added to ice cream for a great snack for the kids. Definitely a great product and I would recommend to others for their recipes.
Nestle Greatness
lawmariaOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/27/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and a cranberry chocolate chip sweet bread. Both were excellent with the addition of the semi sweet chocolate chips. I received this product for free for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
Semisweet chocolate chips
CarolOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I love to bake and when I do it is always with Nestle Toll House chips - my husband loves the butterscotch ones when I make a cashew butterscotch bar and my dad loves the white chips in his white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Chocolate chips are used in many of my cookies and I melt them for drizzle over macaroons and PB cookies.
Love them
