- 5 out of 5 stars review11/3/2017The semi sweet chocolate chips are great tasting. The recipe always comes out just right. I would not choose any other chocolate chip company for my family. I have tried others and they come out hard. With Nestle Chocolate Chips they turn out perfect. I will always buy this brand.
So very delicious
RoxyOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/7/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super delicious chips. Very chocolatey and creamy. Highly consistent throughout the bag. High quality of chips, no bits and pieces were left in the bottom of the bag. Was able to use all of the chips!!
Delicious, as always!
siggy327Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 2 out of 5 stars review12/20/2017I have used these chips for over 30 years! This year I cannot get them to melt so I can dip my coconut balls. They start to melt....then nothing but a huge glob. I have tried microwave and my double boiler. Same results. Surprising, my sister and my daughter have both had the same problem this year. What have you changed????
what did you change??

They taste great and melt just right to make my cookies the best. I've tried other chocolate chips in the past but I have never gotten the results I get with Nestle. Now whenever I have a recipe requiring chocolate morsels, Nestle is the brand I choose.
Always a staple in my kitchen
harmony414Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/4/2017When baking cookies I use nothing other than Nestle Semi Sweet morsels. They can always be dependable for the quality. At Christmas I bake 80 dozen plus cookies. Sounds like an outrageous amount but I send to our children, grandchildren ,neighbors, and friends. I also use other flavors and have the same great results.
Great results
FlamingoOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/5/2017I was thirteen when I started baking with nestles semi-sweet chocolate chips, that was over 50 years ago, they were my favorites then and still are. I taught my girls how to bake with them and my granddaughter! Needless to say, we are all still baking with them, guess you could say it's a tradition for us!
Lifetime love
Beve01Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/4/2017I buy nestle toll house chips all the time. I add them to pancakes for a delicious morning treat or to my brownies to give them a little extra zip. My chocolate chip cookies are requested by all children and there friends. Nestle chocolate is always a part ofthe baking.
My go to chocolate
Patty motherof5Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/26/2024Nestlé Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels! You can pay more than $2 each for delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries, or make them yourself just how you like them. Melt ¾ cup of chips and ½ tsp shortening in the microwave or over a pot of simmering water. Stir until smooth. Dip strawberries, graham crackers, or apple or pear slices in the mixture. Let set in the refrigerator. So easy! I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.
Great quality at a great price
AdelaOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/27/2024I made chocolate chip cookies with these semi sweet chips. They were the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made! The chips are so much better than before I don't know what change was made but it's a great change. I brought them to a party and everyone was telling me they were decadent #freechocolatechips
This is decadent
MalOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/5/2017Of course I am a chocoholic, I love most things chocolate. I use these morsels a lot, I can always depend on a consistent quality whether I am baking cookies, especially my favorite seven layer bars or using them in my 2 minute microwave cake in a cup recipe. I also use them just melted to swirl on top of plain sugar cookies or to drizzle over my chocolate crinkle cookies to give the extra chocolate "kick". I use the mini ones to make chocolate chip ice cream. Nestle chocolate chips of all flavors are a regular pantry item for me.
Always Great
Sandi LOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I love to bake, happy to see friends and family see the fruits of my labor. And more than that, I am a chocoholic! Nestle's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, known as "chips" in my house, is my go to product. I have used them in chocolate chip cookies, of course, as well as for frosting, adding them to brownies and the mini chips to cakes such as banana loaf, chocolate bundt cakes, coffee cakes, etc. Even picking them by the handfuls and eating them. So when you want the very best, it's Nestles, no doubt!
The Very Best Chocolate
I have no nicknameOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017Every Christmas I make Toffee Bark. It is a butter brickle bottom with toasted almonds in it. I then lay Nestle Semi Sweet chips on top while it is still hot. Spread out the chocolate with a spoon and sprinkle on more toasted almonds. Everyone in my family waits for it and always expects a tin of it to take home. Once you start eating it you can't stop. Nestle semi sweet chips are the only chips to use for this recipe in my opinion.
The only chocolate chips to purchase in my opinion
Deb1956Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/7/2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many chocolate chip cookie recipes, and some have been very tasty, but nothing beats classic Toll House Cookies. My husband likes nuts and I a less a fan, so I will make half with pecans and half without. The recipe that is on every bag of Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels is always perfect. My latest batch of Toll House Cookies I portioned the dough out with a small scoop and then froze them on a sheet pan with parchment paper. Now I can just pop the cookies in a 375 degree oven for hot cookies whenever I'm in the mood. As the dough is colder, the cookies don't spread as much, which is perfect for dunking in milk. Thank you, Nestle, for keeping these chocolate chips per...
Is there anything better than classic Toll House Cookies?
PlainnPrettyOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/25/2024This product was provided for free and this review is my own opinion. Generally I liked the product but did not find is has rich and complex as its bittersweet counterpart. Though it does seem like a reliable and consistent product that would work in recipes where you might a more delicate chocolate presence. Overall, it was certainly an acceptable choice.
Solid product that's easy to use
Joe A.Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017Our family is full of bakers, from my 10 year old daughter all the way to my great grandma (although not as much, but she has taught us a lot!). We have tried all manner of brands throughout the year, and none of them can even compare to Nestle Toll House Semi- Sweet Chocolate Morsels especially in Grandma's Fudge!!
Couldn't live without Nestle!
bpontoOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/25/2019The toll house pie is a must every Thanksgiving. My sister in law has a large family that join together for the holiday. Since I work on the holiday I cook something for her to take. Chocolate is a stable for them. This pie is fought over. I now send several over but someone always tries to hide one to take home to their house. Easy to make and always a hit at party
Thanksgiving tradition
LindasOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/31/2017Mom was great at making cookies, and my all-time favorites were Toll-House! I always tried to get the first ones with the most pieces & loved how the still-warm chocolate was so creamy-smooth! When I think of home-made cookies, the first image in my mind is of Toll-House!
Flavorful mmmmmemories!
AbJazDust2015Originally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017Thank you for your recipe, you got it right back. My brother in law who is in a home with bad memory loss loved the fudge I made and thought it was the boxed kind that I made every year from the Christmas box you put together every year thank you Nestle!0
wonderful fudge recipee
SharronOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I always keep at least one bag in my pantry to either make toll house cookies or to add to other recipes to elevate them. I melt them to make fudge, drizzle them over sweet banana bread or make Christmas crack any time of the year. I also eat them right out of the bag but don't tell anyone.
My go-to
BonstuOriginally posted onverybestbaking.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/1/2017I have tried cheaper brands, but what's that old saying you get what you paid for!! Nothing compares to the perfect blend of either sweetness or simple chocolately goodness when needed for baking recipes!! My grandkids even love eating them right outta the bag too!!
Perfection at it's Best!!
