Just the best!

I've tried a lot of chocolate morsels in my time but nestle morsels are the best. Of the 40+ years I've tried others that don't melt right nor taste as good as the Nestie brand. You just can't go wrong and in my opinion especially when making great memories as Nestle Toll House has...

A weekly staple in our house

Nestle Morsels are part of my weekly baking experience. I use the morsels to make brownies, cakes, cookies, Ganache, buttercream frosting, etc...They are a part of my life and my families life. I am famous for my version of chocolate chip cookies and Nestle Morsels are an ingredient I can't do without!

Less cocoa in the new creamier version

I have now made fudge and chocolate cookies that have no chocolate taste at all thanks to the new creamier version of Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chips. Everything just tastes sweet. I'm sure the amount of cocoa in this product has been reduced. Great way to save money - - - no chocolate in the chocolate chips. Way to go Nestle.

I had purchased this product in the past, but...

I now prefer to purchase Nestle Toll House Organic Allergen Free Semi-Sweet Morsels as my family has had allergic reactions to this product in the past Allergen Free Morsels Organic Morsels that are free from the 8 major food allergens: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Egg, Milk, Soy, Wheat, Fish and Shellfish.

The one and only

I am now 70 years old and I have been baking with Nestlé's chocolate chips since I've been a teenager . I have tried another brand once but it just wasn't the same. There's nothing like the real thing. I have been told numerous times I should open up a bakery, Nestlé's is the only brand I use .

Double Chocolate

I am a disabled senior and baking is difficult, but I am a chocolate addict. I use a chocolate cake mix, 1 cube of butter, one egg and 1-2 tablespoons of water. Hand mix completely and then add 1/2 cup of Tollhouse semi sweet chips and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. They are delicious.

YES!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They melt perfect, I used for cookies, pancakes for my grand children, muffins and I would reccomend them to any one looking for a Chocolate chip that has consistent flavor every time and they are delicious. Nestle is the only chips I use.

The best there is!

You can buy really good expensive chocolate chips for your baking and get great taste. You can buy good store brand chocolate chips and get a good tasting chip. But I choose to buy Nestle Toll House as they are as good as the expensive chips, and priced in line with the store brand. Plus, it's all my mom ever used and this tradition has been passed down to my own adult daughter. I'll not buy anything else. Nestle is my choice.

Just A Few Chips Here and There

I always like to have an open bag of Nestles Chocoate chips in my cupboard clipped tightly closed with a binder clip. When I want a tasty chocolate treat I will take out of the refridgerator a quarter of a previously made peanut butter sandwich made with Milton's whole grain bread and Laura Scudder's peanut butter. I open up the sandwich and place 4 or 5 chips on the peanut butter, put the little sandwich back together. Then I wrap it loosely in a slightly damp paper towel and put it in the microwave for just a few seconds, maybe 14. This makes such a nice, warm, gooey, tasty and even healthy treat. Sometimes I take a little dish with just about 15 or 20 chips that I microwave. Then when they are nicely melted and stirred smooth I have a little dip for a few banana slices or even a ginger snap or two. Nestle chips are good to add to bowls of nuts and or raisins. Of course they are great for baking; but it is much more fun to have a few chips here on a little sandwich or to add few chips there to bowl of nuts set on the table. Fruit slices or small ready made cookies dipped in melted chocolate chips are a real treat and a super easy very special dessert to make. A few drops of quality oil like avocado oil prevents the chocolate from re-hardening. And using the chips with fiber rich fruit and bread instead of the white flour and sugar found in traditional recipes, is so much better for my families health.

Not what they used to be. Not the original.

I've been baking { and eating} chocolate chip cookies for years. nestle was always the best. But... now...nestle chips have changed. and not just a little. they don't taste like chocolate anymore, just sweet, and they don't melt the same way. its enough of a change that the original tollhouse recipe just doesn't work. the flavor is off. and the texture. sorry bakers, if you want to make the tollhouse cookies you remember your mom making, you'll need to try another chocolate chip. and nestle, please explain? any suggestions for making good cookies again?
