I recently began learning how to make scones. I've never worked with that type of dough, or had to let a dough rise prior to this new adventure. I tried them a couple of times but something was missing. Then I looked in my cooking cupboard and saw the mini chips from Nestle Toll House, and I knew what they were missing! I added a 1/3 of cup of mini chips to my scones and they were amazing! Now I add other ingredients, but it always gets mini chips to make it "Mom's special scone recipe".

I have been using Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels for over 50 years because I can always count on it providing an excellent product. This is one item that is ALWAYS on hand in my kitchen. My grandchildren don't know any other type of chocolate morsel. They would be lost without Grandma's chocolate chip cookies.

My family and I LOVE Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels! When we make homemade chocolate chip cookies with them, I feel like I am providing a healthier version of our favorite snack, my 9 year old daughter is proud to help me bake and the three older boys are ecstatic to help "taste" the dough!

My family loves my holiday baking. One of my mother's favorite recipes (now passed on to me, my daughter and my granddaughter) is toffee bars. We put the Nestle Semi-Sweet Morsels on top just after taking the pan out of the oven. We spread the melted morsels and top with chopped walnuts. They melt evenly and make the toffee bars into something "holiday special". Of course, my granddaughter loves to grab a handful of the morsels and pop them in her mouth while the toffee bars are baking. Nothing has changed in three generations because my daughter and I did the same thing years ago. The richness and great flavor of the morsels is as perfect today as it was then.

I've been making buckeyes for 30 years and the past 2 possibly 3 years they've been ruined. After seeing your reviews, I now believe it is because your morsels are not melting right. I don't know how they are for cookies but I will never use them again for melting. And no, I'm not a novice or an expert, I bake for my family for over 30 years.

I use Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate recipe on the package each year at Christmas to make cookies for my family. I use half again as many morsels as the recipe calls for and 1/2 as much nuts, grinding the nuts really fine. They are fabulous and my family loves them. Thanks Toll House!!!

I used to steal these from my moms baking cabinet all the time, so I bought some to snack on. However, they stated much different than I remember not necessarily bad but not what I was hoping for, I like them more bitter like higher cocoa content. What's the highest cocoa content you sell? And are there vegan options.

They are perfect for baking in chocolate chip cookies, melting and spreading on top of rice crispy treats, and melted and used for dipping cookies in. They are just sweet enough without being overly so. These are my new favorites, and I will be buying them on repeat! I received a free sample in exchange for my review.

Both my husband and I agree that the chaste of the semisweet morsels has changed, and not for the better. Several times a year I melt the chips for a special occasion icing that dates back to my mother-in law's recipe. I recently used up my stash of chips and bought a new bag. I thought the icing tasted off and my husband agreed. He tried one of the unmelted chips and noticed a difference in taste immediately. His response was that we had to find another brand to use in the future which is a shame. Please go back to the old recipe!
