I have eaten 1-2 lbs of Nestle chocolate chips per week for most of my life! Friends and relatives have always made fun of me. But at some nondescript time, within the past couple of years...your chocolate chips stopped tasting the same and I no longer even like them. I don't finish eating a bag in a month, don't make chocolate chip cookies anymore. It seems to coordinate with the change of your bags. If you haven't changed the recipe (which I find extremely difficult to believe,) perhaps you should be addressing the interaction of the bag type on your product. Please do something and fix this! You have lost one of your most avid customers!

I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I used these for baking a number of different desserts. They worked very well in my classic chocolate chip cookie recipe, as well as for adding texture in chocolate zucchini bread. They are just sweet enough to give a nice bite to the desert without being overwhelming. These have been a go-to staple in my household for years and will continue to be. I am very disappointed in the new semi sweet morsels. They may work for some recipes but the two tried and true (for over 50 years) I use them in were an expensive disaster. A simple delicious fudge recipe passed to me by a family friend turned to chocolate sugar crystals with clumpy morsels which refuse to melt and a bourbon ball coating I have made countless times also refused to melt into the silky smooth coating I expected. Whatever nestle has changed it is apparent they are not going to share with its loyal customers or change back that just leaves one option. I will become a former loyal customer of Nestle and a currrent loyal customer of a yet to be determined brand. Happy baking, To the silky

Born in the 40's and growing up with such good things that came in a package, have now led to nothing but disappointments, poor quality, no taste and texture is gone! But not NESTLE semi-sweet morsels, they are still the only morsel for baking, and just eating with all the goodness left in them. I can still be a kid when I eat them! TY

My company always requests these cookies. I just purchased the semi-sweet morsels this week as I will be baking them for my Thanksgiving guests. What they don't eat, they find room in their luggage to take the rest home with them! They are truly delicious.

This is the key to great cookies. Always use real butter. I mean real butter, not something water based. Your cookies will turnout awesome. Also when storing them, add a single slice of bread to the bag or container every other day. It will keep them soft.

Just used up some to jive up a boring cookie recipe. Threw in some leftover Nestle chocolate chips and Nestle butterscotch chips. Raw dough was yummy; baked cookies were gone in 24 hours...and there's only two of us. Ps. Don't tell the dietary gurus.

I love using these in my baking. They have great flavor and the chocolate chip cookie recipe is one of my favorites. The only reason why I have given 4 stars not 5 is because the last few times I've gotten them they taste odd, not sure if they have changed recipes or what but they just don't taste/bake like they used to.

I use these in everything from pancakes to pumpkin cake rolls. There creamy and have the perfect balance of sweet in them to keep them from being sickeningly sweet. Can't ask for any better! Perfect with Reese's peanut butter cups, shredded coconut and almonds on graham cookie bars!!

I bought 4 bags of the simi sweet chips recently as I do every time I bake cookies and for some reason they didn't taste right just a very different taste all together I didn't save the bags because I have trust in your product for the last 35 years I'm a chef so following recipes isn't the issue
