Purchased 4 bags to prepare favors for my daughter's birthday party. Little did I know that I would actually end up wasting 2 whole bags and just gave up on my sweet treat. The morsels didn't melt. They were chunky and crumbly. I even attempted to melt them in my small chocolate dipper adding a drop of oil, with hopes that it would melt .... that didn't happen . I'm usually one who uses only nestle, but I may have to change brands if this is what my end result will be. Money wasted, but the "sweet crumbs" sure did make the kids happy. Please check into this nestle.

I will buy no name morsels if I am making cookies for an unimportant event. BUT if it is for my family and friends the only chocolate chip I will use is Nestle!! They taste the best they melt perfectly, and there IS a noticeable difference in taste!! No question Nestle is the very best!

For 35 years I've been making fudge with this brand. No more. After numerous attempts, the conclusion is the product has indeed changed and literally ruins the fudge as it won't melt. I have no clue what you've done, but I won't be using Nestle again.

Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels are the bomb! Its my secret ingredient to making my homemade fudge. You can pretty much use them in any thing especially homemade cookies. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that loves chocolate!

Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels are the only chocolate chips I will ever include when making traditional chocolate chip cookies. Nestle Toll House Cookies made with the semi-sweet chocolate morsels became a tradition in our household many decades ago. The Toll House Cookie recipe is the best one for chocolate chip cookies; it is in a class all its own. My whole family and guests enjoy them. I have resorted to purchasing an extra bag or two so there are actually some left to put in the cookie dough after chip lovers realize they're in the house and start eating the chips out of the bag.

I have been using these since I was a teen and making cookies and they definitely have changed. This morning I made a batch of brownies to take to the office and when they came out of the oven, I sprinkled a half bag of chips on top and covered the pan so they would melt and could be spread. 5 minutes later, they were still hard - a bit soft at the edges but not spreadable. After 8 minutes, I picked them off and put them in the microwave with some light corn syrup. They softened, but were not really spreadable. I have always used them in this way. What has happened to them????

Nestle Toll House Chocolate Morsels DID NOT used to contain "Natural Flavors." Natural flavors is oftentimes another name for MSG-monosodium glutamate. OK, Nestle, are there "free glutamates" in your chocolate morsels? I won't touch so many products because the insidious "Natural Flavors" has crept into their ingredients lists.
