Every once in a while I go on a bender. I can never find a really big bag of David’s sunflower seeds so I buy several smaller bags. I got tired of this so I bought a 1lb bag of spits (mistakenly) cracked pepper. 1 handful later it went in the trash. I tried again with the original. I have actually checked the bag for the “best by” date. They tasted like they hadn’t even roasted. I’ve never done it but that's what I would think my dogs paws would taste like after running around on wet grass all day. David’s you are guilty of allowing connoisseurs of fine seeds to consume the competition’s nasty seeds. While I have learned my lesson and will never forsake my David’s seeds again, one would hope, as the best seeds ever, David’s would make a bigger bag available.

There’s nowhere to review the JUMBO specifically so I’m here. I cannot stand them. I don’t like that I can’t put 15 in my mouth like the regular sized ones :( It’s not fun anymore. So the only flavor that I absolutely love right now is the Nacho Cheese and I’m running out of places to find them. There’s one store by my job that sells them and I’m probably the only one who buys them lol and hopefully I didn’t buy the last 3 tiny packs…I’ll find out tomorrow. Please make a bigger bag of these and PLEASEEEEE don’t discontinue them. If you do, can you just send me the remainder of the last ones in the warehouse lol please and the you! I’m so serious though…

The bag has a lousy seal on it! I’m 72 years old and have been eating these FOR YEARS !! The last THREE TIMES I have purchased the original 14.5 oz the sealing doesn’t seal well at all. We all know if the freshness isn’t good NO ONE WANTS THEM. I AM ONE of those that will NOT buy your product again until the sealing is FIXED. I am sure that many others are experiencing the same problem. Sunflower seeds that are stale or fresh. YOU TELL ME

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried David Seeds original sunflower seeds today, and I think they are a great snack for sitting around in front of the TV with. Since it takes a little work to get to the "good part", you are eating less than if you were to sit down with a bag of chips. They are satisfying and have a nice roasted flavor. I will definitely buy again.

I like the flavor and taste. the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it takes effort to get the seed out and the end result is really tiny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This salty snack is probably one of my favorite snacks for on the go. Pop a handful in my mouth while I'm driving and it's perfect. I have a trashcan in my van so I just toss the shell into that once I eat the insides. The resealable bag is great to keep spills from happening.

Way too much salt. I've eaten so many bags of your seeds but I've always hated the sodium content. Now bc of physical reasons I can't have your seeds bc of the sodium. What's wrong with taco, jalapeño and Buffalo and other awesome flavors made with NO salt? I'm disappointed. I travel a lot and the taco is my favorite. So disappointing!

I am not sure what is going on with our favorite sunflower seeds but it is definitely not good! Why does it look like worms have invaded the seeds and what is the grittiness inside? Is that dirt or dead worms that were roasted? Guess we will have to stop buying them until something is done about the quality. Sorry but when you get things straightened out could you let your customers know. Thank you.

I look for the packages that have the darker shells that have a more roasted taste. If the seeds don't pop and crack in your mouth, than they aren't fresh enough for me.
