I always chose the Ziplock Sandwich bags over the store brand. The price difference was overshadowed by the superior performance and ease of closing. It appears that they are now cutting costs. The "zipper" is now thin and flimsy and it is extremely hard to seal. They are now the same quality as the store brand so I might as well save the money and purchase those!

The bags will not stay close and if you manage to get it closed you have already spent valuable time just trying to get it to stay closed. Easy to open.no problem because most of the time they open on their own. The bags do NOT maintain a seal for longer than it takes to place a full bag on the counter.

I bought a huge box of these, for the first part of the box they were fine, now that I've used about half of them, everytime I use one it splits. I usually use them for my snacks, and many times I go to take my break and my snack is all over the place. Also does this with my husband's sandwiches, I've quit using them for his lunch because his sandwich isn't fresh at lunchtime. So so disappointed and I wish I hadn't bought the large box that I did.

The new design zip on the easy open tabs sandwich bags resulted in a lower cost to SCJ, but it makes it extremely frustrating to perform a zip seal by the consumer. As an engineer, I can tell that the zip tracks have been minimized, thereby reducing material which reduces cost. However, this design change has made it very difficult to align and insert the male track into the female track. Need to go back to the easy-zip version, PLEASE. SCJ, we have used your products for many years, but this latest design is a failure!

I don’t know why I bought more of these, as I really have a hard time closing them. I bought since generic ones online and they were easier to close, but a tiny bit more difficult to open. The price for these on sale is very good though. I had bought them a week before they went in sale, of course, so had to do the re buy and return routine, since they tell me they don’t do price adjustments the way the red warehouse club does.

I am so disappointed with this product. It is extremely difficult to close. You have to keep going over and over the thin seal line because the two sides resist matching up. I bought several boxes and I am ready to throw them away. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I purchased the easy open tab snack bags for my husbands lunch. I have always used the snack bags to pack his dry protein powder, and thought I would try the new easy open tabs. BIG MISTAKE The bags will not stay closed and have created a mess in his lunch bag multiple times.

Unfortunately, a great product is now very much worse than the original. The main issue is not being able to close the bag -- it will not 'zip'... No time to struggle for 5 minutes trying to close the bag. The 'zip' will not join, or joins partially, and pops open again. Come on, S C Johnson, go back to the original ziploc closure ! Please.

I bought the Ziploc 90 sandwich bags, which I have used before. The bags are not sealed at the bottom! I was putting something in to seal and when I pick the bag up to put into the fridge everything fell to the floor. At first I thought it was just one or two, but the last 5 or 6 the entire bottom is not sealed. The number stamped on the bottom is N1870502E1136.

I use your bags faithfully and love that the SNACK bags BOX have a TOP OPENING and that they're labeled with bag size! sandwich bag box is practically the same size when standing however it's package opening is on the side. I'd love to see the boxes maybe have both areas as (perforated) options for opening the box! I use a drawer for my baggies/foils/wraps and the TOP entry is great! I usually trace the snack bag piece that I popped out and use a blade or scissors to make the same size opening on the Sandwich box. Its not a big deal to do it, but it seems you have the technology to stamp/perforate the boxes on both sides! Customers would appreciate it! :)
