Out of a 30 bag gallon box, approximately 30% of the sliders come off the bags when I tried to close them. I could not get the slider back onto the bag, so I had to throw away the unused bags because they were unusable. What has happened to the ziploc slider bags? They use to be great at storing food or anything, but now they seem to be very cheaply constructed.

purchased the Gallon Storage Slider/Stand and Fill bags. The slider mechanism does not function properly. I stored fruit in the bags. Opened and closed the first time, but the second time we tried to opened the bag, the slider failed to open the seal. We ended up ripping the bag trying to open the zipped seal. This was not a one time thing, it's happening on all the bags we've used thus far from that box. Very disappointed with this product, therefore, I would not recommend the Stand and Fill bags.

I couldn't find the 'NON' Slider version of the Storage Bags (the one with the pink top) we bought both the Sandwich Sized and the 1 Gallon, neither of them are usable. I tried to use the Ziploc website contact feature, but it crashed repeatedly so I figured that at least the Facebook page would not crash since it is not created or maintained by Johnson. We purchased the Ziploc STORAGE bags and have not been able to use them because when attempting to open, it rips the plastic near or around where you are grasping. If you do manage to pop the seal, the motion is so jarring that it rips the edge of the bag down the seam and the contents goes everywhere. The seal is so strong that in cannot be opened unless pried open with a knife or something with an edge on it. We do have other bags by Ziploc (Sandwich GREEN or Freezer BLUE) and they perform as expected.

Each year we grow our own tomatoes and then we make many jars of spaghetti sauce for the winter months out of them. For each batch of sauce we need up to 50 LBS of chopped tomatoes. So what happens is as the tomatoes ripen they get peeled, sieved and put into Ziploc Gallons. They are then frozen until there is enough for a batch of sauce. We ONLY TRUST Ziploc gallon bags for this task. NOT ONCE have we lost a drop of our precious tomato puree! They are the toughest, strongest and mostly reliable bag on the market today! It's my first time of using Ziploc slider, I am totally amazed by how good the quality is. I use these almost for everything, the zipper makes them super easy to close. I also like the bags are slightly thicker than most other lock bags, its heavy duty, and I have no problem of putting fruits on it. I received this product for free in return for my unbiased review

I have always used ziploc zip up gallon bags for lots of things in my kitchen however the box we have now EVERY single bag has been torn on the sides straight out of the box. You barely touch them and they fall apart. Waste of money. I hope this is not the new quality of their products.

This is the first time I've bought them. I expected them to seal easily and I put soup in one to go in the freezer. Nope! I set it down and the soup came out. I'm going through testing each bag to find a few that will work to get my soup in the freezer. I will not buy these again!

These bags are annoying. Maybe I just got two defective boxes. The slide tabs are seriously just falling off. You barely have to even look at it and it falls apart. Ugh. Trying to pack for a camping trip. These pieces of fecal matter should be an embarrassment to the ziplock bag world.

Bought some of these made in Mexico - X030MX7902246 - Pink slider/closer comes off when you try to close them. No force used just slide and it comes off and pops out of the bag. Of course when the slider comes off they won't open or close. Basically ended up throwing them away they were so worthless. No matter how you tried could not get them to work - daughter tried them too with same bad results.

I love using these in the freezer along with Perfect Portion's. I save room in my freezer, plus they protect my food from freezer burn perfectly. Together its the perfect combo! When it comes time to eat, its so convenient to just take out what I need and know the rest will stay fresh and frozen until I need it. Thanks Ziploc!
