I bought the Ziploc brand name bags thinking I was getting a better quality bag than the store brand however I've had at least a dozen of the bags not properly sealed across the top at the red slide. A total waste of the extra I paid for the bags. Next time I'll buy the store brand bags.

purchased the Gallon Storage Slider/Stand and Fill bags. The slider mechanism does not function properly. I stored fruit in the bags. Opened and closed the first time, but the second time we tried to opened the bag, the slider failed to open the seal. We ended up ripping the bag trying to open the zipped seal. This was not a one time thing, it's happening on all the bags we've used thus far from that box. Very disappointed with this product, therefore, I would not recommend the Stand and Fill bags.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have a box of Ziploc Brand Storage Gallon Bags in my kitchen. I use them for everything. After I cut up a watermelon, I fill my Ziploc bags with watermelon, and it stays fresh for days. They work great when you want to fry up some chicken. Put all you seasonings and flour in the bag , add you chicken, close with the slider and shake your chicken, and fry!

Not very pleased with Ziploc lately. They have really cheapened their products. The bags rips at the sides just trying to open the top of the bag and the plastic is so thin now - things poke through so easily. Most normal baggies of all sizes seem to be this way. The freezer versions are much better and Hold up well...and of course they are much more expensive.

These are the jam in our household! We love to keep our food fresh in these (salad lettuce and romaine) and my hubby puts our meats in the freezer in these bags when he helps me break down meat. I highly recommend along with the sandwich and snack size!

I always take these with me hiking and backpacking. They are essential to make sure important items stay dry- sometimes I hike through rain for days, or have even fallen into a river, but these bags never leak, so they're very dependable. The slider makes it quick and easy to open and close them. I don't use any other storage bags, these are my favorite.

These bags are very convenient but after multiple uses are not very reliable. The slider tends to break apart and leave the bag unusable. Additionally, plastic bags are awful for the environment and land in the trash where they never decompose. If you are going to buy these bags, you must reuse them.

The one downfall is that sometimes the slider breaks and doesn't actually close the bag. But I don't care. It doesn't happen often enough for me to stop using the product. I highly recommend.

I am never without these bags in my house. I love them to freeze extra meat and veggies. Or we use them when we pack. When my daughter was little I would put a days worth of clothes in the bag so she did t have dig through a suitcase. She could just grab a bag and go. Definite win

I'm a ziploc fan hands down. My mom used it when I was a kid for everything and now so do I. These bags are great for more then food. Put you cell phone in one when at the beach and it stays clean from all sand and water. My kids put there sticker collections in the bags and little toys when traveling. Also great for marker and colors while traveling.
