Store brand bags often leak, are difficult to close or don't close completely, so I appreciate Ziploc's quality. I like the stay open feature as it makes adding things like ground beef or chicken easier and more sanitary than having to keep touching the outside of the bag.

The gallon bags that laid flat fit papers. I used them for school papers, work papers, bills, letters, cards. They were wonderful for organizing !! The ones with the flat bottom does not hold a flat sheet of paper. And they put grooves in my papers. I have been all over town trying to buy the old bags. So heartbroken ! I miss my old Ziploc bags

I was quite surprised to see the change in style for these bags, staying open for easy filling. what a great idea for storage bags! especially considering most things people put in bags are typically somewhat liquid. I am very happy to use such a quality product.

These bags stay closed! I try to use reusable stuff whenever I can, but when I'm in a rush these come in very handy. These big ones are great for storing leftovers to freeze. I like to double the batch and put the extra in one of these bags because they don't take up too much room in the freezer.

I love that they stand up alone to fill. The little pleats at the bottom really work! I always wash and reuse my bags until they have a hole, so these are a great value for as many times as I will use and reuse. I never knew they could be recycled at store drop offs. I will look for that.

Being able to set the bag on the counter and put in leftovers from dinner without the bag falling over is amazing. Glad they finally added something like this and not sure we will be able to go back to the regular Ziploc bags.
