[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ziploc brand storage bags are always my go-to when I need to freeze anything. The plastic is thick, doesn't tear or rip and keeps the item in good condition whenever its needed. This product with the stay open design falls short in my opinion. It's a good concept, however in practice, the bags aren't any different than the regular Ziploc freezer bags. There is a band of thicker plastic at the top but they don't expand significantly, nor "stay open" when filled. I had several pork chops I wanted to drop in and the bags had to be held when filled and without being propped in some way, they would fall over. I would still recommend Ziploc bags to anyone, however unless there is more design tweaking, I don't know that I would buy these particular ones.

Being able to set the bag on the counter and put in leftovers from dinner without the bag falling over is amazing. Glad they finally added something like this and not sure we will be able to go back to the regular Ziploc bags.

I store my lettuce in these storage bags and it keeps my lettuce crisp. These storage bags keep my food fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, I usually buy off-brand storage bags, so when I got the opportunity to receive a free sample of these bags in exchange for an honest, unbiased review, I was skeptical that they'd be better than those I usually buy. But seeing - and using - is believing. These are nice, thick plastic, seal incredibly easily and smoothly (so THAT'S how storage bags are supposed to seal!), and stand on their own for easy filling. I will absolutely be re-purchasing these when I run out and was pleasantly surprised with this sample product.

The bag did move a little with the opening when I poured some sauce in it but a lot less than others. These are not made for the freezer, keep that in mind.

So it's wonderful to get these Ziplocs that stay open and stand on their own. I usually try to do it with the normal ones but it doesn't work as well. So these work infinitely better because they are designed to stay open. Disclosure: I got the product for free in exchange for writing the review (but it has not influenced my score at all, because these bags are still wonderful).

I use these for storing meat and veggies in the deep freeze. These seal tightly and keep the foods fresh. I don't find ice inside the bags when I'm ready to eat the food like with some other brands. They're not as cheap as they could be but they are good quality .
