I always have these in my pantry, I buy food in bulks so when I need to separated my food i use these large freezer bags,I can easily store away and have my food ready in the right portions..great use if you like to meal plan..your food wont get freezer burnt either,seals tightly. Also can use for storing anything you dont want left out/uncovered.

There's a reason that ziplock is synonymous with sandwich / storage / freezer bags! While I usually purchase store brand bags, these definitely stand out amongst the competition. I wish they weren't as expensive as they are, but they out-perform their cheaper counterparts.

We use this bag for freezing meat and fresh vegetables as well as for marinating meat. The bags seal well but leak on the corners. The last box we purchased EVERY bag has leaked. I would expect this from generic brands but NOT from ziploc. We purchase ziploc for the quality and have been extremely disappointed. I understand one or two bags possibly having this issue but not every bag we have used.

I got the chance to try and review a free sample of these and have to say that while the bottome doesn't look much different I did find it easier to fill this style without having to hold on to the top.

I like the fact they stay open which makes it easy to fill. The closure seal will make sure even liquids will not leak. I would highly recommend this product.

If you follow the instructions and fold down the top of the bag, it will stay open for hands free filling. Be sure to fill the middle and entire bottom of the bag, to create a sturdy base. Then fill the bag slowly, unfolding as you reach the top of it.

While I enjoy the Ziploc brand and products, the grip n seal bags don't always close easily. As is the case with the gallon storage bags. Easy to open and remove from the box, plenty of space for storage inside the bag, it's always questionable when I seal the bag. I prefer the zipper closure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my complimentary box of Stay Open Ziploc gallon size bags this week. I love to use these bags to marinade our meat. I normally use a bag rack to hold the bag steady and open but I liked the stay open feature, so I gave it a try with my chicken shawarma. The bag is solid, no leakage, holds the perfect amount, the seal is amazing, but the stay open feature didn't really work for me as you can see from the picture. The bag itself also wasn't secure standing on it's own. I just did not feel it was reliable as a stand alone product but as a storage container for the marinade, it was top notch as usual!

I love the design allowing it to stay open, the grip and seal technology and how thin but strong the material of the bag feels. You can use these bags for a variety of items, from food to storing non-food items. I also appreciate that they've adopted ways to reuse and recycle this product as well. Love the product and brand, would recommend.
