I recently purchased a new box of these bags from our local club, and the design and quality of the bags has DRASTICALLY been changed/reduced. These newly designed/manufactured bags leak readily, rip and tear when opening the zipper, and separate at the seems on almost every use beyond the initial filling. Buyer beware.

What has happened? Your bags, specifically, the expensive, freezer gallon bags, keep breaking at the seal. I’ve gone to open the bag and end up with a strip of the seal and a closed bag that then becomes nearly impossible to open. Why is this happening?

Ziploc bags used to be leak-free, but not anymore. They're basically useless when thawing or marinating food. They leak and create a mess. Plus, they're thinner than they used to be. Bags have actually torn in the freezer. That NEVER used to happen. I will have to find an alternative because they're now JUNK! Further, the company significantly reduced the number of bags, but charges the same price. It used to be 4 boxes of 50. Now, it's 4 boxes of 38. So, less bags and lower quality for the same price. Good job, Ziploc (cue slow Nancy Pelosi clap).

Came in a good box. Well packed. But the package the bags were in, was a torn up mess. Which means, someone took this torn up mess. And packed it in the nice box and shipped the trash to me. And allowed Sam's to charge me for it. At least 3 of the 4 packages were usable.

I’m very disappointed in the quality of these freezer bags. I actually had a stem from some fresh spinach penetrate a hole through one today causing the liquid to leak out terribly. I will not be purchasing these bags again. Please improve the thickness of these bags to securely work with freezer items.
