I also use these to separate large packs of meat into smaller portions. These freezer bags are a good value. And they can be used for so many things. We enjoy making shake up icecream in these bags too.

At first glance I thought they would be an ordinary ziploc bag, but after trying them out, I was pleasantly surprised. These bags work great especially when you have a lot of stuff to put in them. With the stay open design it was easy to pour food in them like cereal without it collapsing. It can really come in handy when filling it up. I only wish it had a wider flat bottom.

The bags are great - but the perforations for dispensing from the carton are FAKE. They are just there to make you THINK the carton is perforated - when really it isn't. It is a very FRUSTRATING experience to get to a good product inside. The carton is a total FAIL.

When you fold that bag it actually stayed up. I also filled it up and it stayed up. I am impressed by this product. Will buy this product again.

I love Ziploc Freezer Bags. They keep my food cold and frozen when needed. They keep frozen items from freezer burn and prevent liquids from leaking. They are durable and thick and if I haven't used them for hazardous things like raw meat, I can reuse them for something else. Always a must buy on my list

It has a line that helps you to know exactly where to fold the bags over to unlock the feature of the bag staying open while you place things inside. I find this feature most useful for placing meat inside to freeze, fruits, veggies or any liquids that need to be poured in like soup. There is still a section on the outside the bag to label what you have placed inside. It closes easily as a push zip close. Strong thick bags and a gallon size is perfect for adding a large quantity. Experienced no freezer burn on the food I froze inside of the bags. I would recommend it highly to friends and family who freeze different food items. I first tried it with chopped onions and peppers. I also used the bags for sliced fruit and meat products such as chicken breast.
