I have always purchased ziplock bags and had no problems with them. I purchased the new zip lock quart bags and every time I would go to zip them shut they would pull apart below the zipper. Not just me but my son also had them do the same thing! Also, the gallon bags with the new zipper came apart at the bottom seam and spilled everything in it! I have always trusted ziplock but these new ones are not the quality they should be!

The Ziploc storage gallon bags rip on sides when trying to open 'easy open tab'. My husband and I both have experienced this several times. Wasted many bags. Not happy with this product, although the easy open tab is a great concept. More work needed, Ziploc.

Have been a faithful Ziploc user due to the easy close "zipper" and the box tops. Unfortunately, now the bags are so hard to close, but worse, they are so thin. Can't store sharp food in them (e.g.: pretzels) without poking holes in the bag. Had to triple bag the freezer bags just to ensure my food won't get freezer burn. Won't be buying this brand anymore.

Theses bags are especially good for travel personal items and beach snacking. They are slightly larger than most quart size bags. You may be thinking a quart is a quart. But for some reason, all manufacturers don’t seem to measure it the same. Also, the ziplock stays tightly closed.

These are not "easy open" as they say. It is very hard to open. A person with arthritis could not open them. Once you do get it opened, if you're not careful the bag will tear because you have to pull so hard, and you have to get another one. Waste of money. I will be purchasing from another bag maker.

I like these so much better than the slider top bags. It’s a personal preference, but I feel that these have less chance of leaks than the slider bags. I had bought the cheaper brands before, but I always went back to Ziploc. I have been buying Ziploc for years now.

Bought these today on a recommendation to marinate in. Used 2 bags, each had 2 pieces of pork tenderloin and teriyaki marinade, total weight of ALL meat was 2.8lbs, plenty of room in each bag. After marinating for about an hour removed bags from fridge to massage the meat and redistribute the marinade, both bags began leaking rapidly at the sides in roughly the same spot, with the marinade spilling into the sink. Bad batch?

Loved Ziploc products, however, the bags (gallon, quart, sandwich, snack) often won't reseal. The "Easy Open Tabs" are great, but the fact that we have had food messes and waste money throwing away bags due to this defect is frustrating and annoying, to say the least. Don't understand why the double-zipper technology fails after opening the bags only one time. Heading to the store to get a different brand of bags to finish organizing our jigsaw puzzles. BTW, we have puzzles in other brand name bags that are over two decades old, and they still open and close securely. Just sayin'.

Can't I have the old Ziploc gallon size bag back. This size is hard to open and tears at the zipper when I try an open it whether it's the first time or any time after that. I have never been disappointed with Ziploc products before this one. The sandwich and quart size with this new zipper open just fine. It just seams to be the gallon size for me.

I love your products; however, not these bags. I bought a box of 38 bags and I have not found any of them to be easy open. After you get them open and store food in them they are impossible to re-open. Very disappointing and a waist of money. Lot number on my box is P1860305E2318.
