I just started using these bags and will not use anything else again. These storage bags are heavy plastic that will not tear, and the closure is so easy and so much better and more reliable than the type you have to pinch together. I make up my freezer meals in these bags--including meat, veggies, seasonings and liquids. I seal it, freeze it and forget in until it's time to use. With these bags, I don't have to worry about the bags getting torn or leaking in the freezer or during thawing. These bags help make my life easier and worry-free.

I was looking forward to tab opening---trusting it would be easier for me and my arthritic hands---but sad to say these bags are actually inferior to previous---my most used size is the "medium"---but the bags are smaller, lighter weight than the old and if tugging to open to hard it splits up the side top. I wish to know if I can find the old one's anywhere for sale??? Sorry for bad review, but your product testing division must be lacking!!!

what happened to your quality control ? every gallon bag that i use from a box that was recently purchased, leaks at the seams when there is liquid in the bag. the other issue is the ziplock is difficult to open when cold. the bag tears at the corners when it is finally opened.

I purchased this new design in your gallon storage bags. Every single bag malfunctions after opening and closing it several times. The top zip rips off the bag and the remaining zip closure does not provide an airtight seal. I have purchased your gallon bags for years and could actually get multiple uses out of one bag by rinsing it out and reusing. This new design doesn't even last through one use. These bags are not cheap and now they are unreliable. Please go back to the old reliable design.

These and the quart bags rip so easily. I've been watching a lot of complaint messages about this issue from as far back as 2 years. I read the Zip loc responses of "so sorry to hear... blah blah blah. What we want to hear when are these bad bags going to be fixed? That's all your consumers want are serviceable bags. Is that too much to ask for?

P0290604E1416 (lot#) Very disappointed. Can only be use one time and red (small) strip tears. Unable to use again. 52 storage gallon bags wasted. How do we go about getting money back . Can not even give it a 1 rating. The freezer bags are great but I don't want to use them for everything.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a pioneer in the "tabbed" bags! Many people have arthritic hands like I do, whether they are young or old. What a blessing to not be struggling when opening a bag. Keep up the good work. You're the best!

I have been using Ziploc storage and freezer bags for many years and have always been a satisfied customer. My only suggestion would be that I wish they had a super thick freezer bag for freezing shrimp. The shrimp tails of fresh shrimp are relatively sharp and will penetrate freezer bags, therefore making freezing of them difficult. But other than that one suggestion, I have and will continue to use Ziploc brand bags.

I usually by ziploc, so when I got this sample was very excited to try the new easy open tabs. I was not disappointed with the way the easy open tabs worked, they made it so easy to open the bags without spilling what I was trying to keep in the bag. I think I will have to get the sandwich size bags to use for lunches.

As a former biology teacher, I remember when an 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of paper would fit nicely into a 1 gallon Ziploc bag...this was great for messy experiments and keeping lab papers dry. I've been an administrator for the past 18 years and someplace in that time the 1 gallon bag changed! WHY?
