I have been using Ziploc brand bags for years and cant believe how poor the quality has gotten on the Storage gallon bags . Every tab tears off when trying to unzip bag. Brand new out of the box ..everyone rips apart. more then one box same thing. I will never buy them again. I would love to get a response .

I made a salad and was able to pour the dressing without any hassle of holding the bag open at the same time. The gallon size can hold a lot, it's perfect for marinating meat and storing food away. The only thing I would change is the thickness of the bag, it feels a bit flimsy. It holds well though, so I'll have to see how long it can be kept. I would recommend and will purchase again in the future!

The top of the bag tears off when trying to open them , without any force at all. Granted bags can rip but not 3 out of 5 bags. The quality is terrible. What ever you did with the formula for the materials to make the plastic, change it back! I have never had this problem previously, it has always been a great storage bag until now. I now have over 150 poorly constructed ziplocs

We have been using ziploc freezer storage bags for years. They were always durable and most times reusable as well. The last two purchases of the gallon and quart bags were sub-par. Bags ripped or were easily punctured (not good when defrosting frozen fruit or anything else for that matter). Many of the bags were unusable from the start due to the tabs ripping while others ripped later when opening them after storage. Very disappointed.

I use large gallon Ziploc bags often, for food transport and also freezer storage, so I was eager to try the bags with the "Grip n' Seal" technology. There's nothing worse than a bag that is difficult to open or close, so I usually get the Ziploc bags with the slider, but somehow that little bit of extra plastic always seems a extra wasteful. These bags seem like a great alternative and felt very sturdy. with the extra lip of plastic sticking up on one side, it made it extra easy to open. It really feels like a quality product compared to some generic store brand food storage bags. The only qualm I can think to add about this product is that it seems like a great idea to have the serrated opening on the top of the box, from which to pull the Ziploc bags out of... but it could have been designed slightly better so that you could rip the cardboard serration a little easier and not make a mess of it like I did.

They've been my go to brand for bags for years. I use Ziplocs for everything. I store Ziplocs in Ziplocs. The gallon size can be used for truly so many things. They are reliable and sturdy. I was excited to see and use the new stay open design. I think it's unique and very handy!

According to a picture on the box and the bags themselves, they should stand up and stay open on their own. They do if you smoosh the bag down very low, but if you try to keep the bag taller to use the full gallon's worth of storage, they don't stay upright. This could get very messy. The quality of the bags themselves are great. I just won't use them how I hoped (being able to easily dump leftovers without needing someone else to hold the bag open or otherwise prop it up.

I was able to put items in the bag and turn it upside down with the pressure being applied to the opening and it didn't budge. I will certainly use these again.

They stay open and sit up will I scoop the ice into them. It makes it easy to fill up my ice bin in the refrigerator when I need to. Ziploc is my always go to for storage.

There's a reason that ziplock is synonymous with sandwich / storage / freezer bags! While I usually purchase store brand bags, these definitely stand out amongst the competition. I wish they weren't as expensive as they are, but they out-perform their cheaper counterparts.
