The gallon storage is perfect to use for travel. I use mine to store the liquid products during travel so if something happens to leak, it stays in the Ziploc bag and doesn't leak on my dry items. The plastic sturdy and the top of the bag seals completely and you can hear it slide together.

I got the chance to try and review a free sample of these and have to say that while the bottome doesn't look much different I did find it easier to fill this style without having to hold on to the top.

I love using these in the freezer along with Perfect Portion's. I save room in my freezer, plus they protect my food from freezer burn perfectly. Together its the perfect combo! When it comes time to eat, its so convenient to just take out what I need and know the rest will stay fresh and frozen until I need it. Thanks Ziploc!

Steak tips, guacamole, even soup! The bags preserve the food well in the freezer so far, I'm eager to try these bags in different sizes!

I love that they stand up alone to fill. The little pleats at the bottom really work! I always wash and reuse my bags until they have a hole, so these are a great value for as many times as I will use and reuse. I never knew they could be recycled at store drop offs. I will look for that.

Being able to set the bag on the counter and put in leftovers from dinner without the bag falling over is amazing. Glad they finally added something like this and not sure we will be able to go back to the regular Ziploc bags.

It's a trusted brand and the size of the bags is excellent for my needs. If you buy meat in bulk, simply put it in these bags and know they'll be fresh when you take them out of the freezer. The bag stands up well and I appreciate the design of the packaging. Overall, this is a great product and an excellent value for the cost.

I have been using Ziplock bags for years and I really hate this new design with the "Stand up bottom". By creating the stand up bottom the SIDES ARE SHORTER of the bag. I rely on the length of the bags (both gallon and half gallon bags) to store multiple things in them and many of these things don't fit any more (ie. opened Bacon, meat packages, cheese, ect..) and these things no longer fit. As well the :stand up bottom" once filled DON'T STACK WELL IN FREEZER because they don;t lie flat, things get caught in the corners after freezing, and they flop all over the freezer (ie, blueberries, apples, ect...) I don;t want to upscale to larger size because that just adds more air to freezing. Please go back to the original design or at least offer that one to purchase as well. These "stand up bottom" has some advantages (with loose snacks, ect..) but shortening the bag by folding the sides doesn't make up for it. Perhaps a compromise would be to bring the sides back to original length or have a multipurpose pack with both kinds in it!
