I love using these in the freezer along with Perfect Portion's. I save room in my freezer, plus they protect my food from freezer burn perfectly. Together its the perfect combo! I am never without these bags in my house. I love them to freeze extra meat and veggies. Or we use them when we pack. When my daughter was little I would put a days worth of clothes in the bag so she did t have dig through a suitcase. She could just grab a bag and go. Definite win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my complimentary box of Stay Open Ziploc gallon size bags this week. I love to use these bags to marinade our meat. I normally use a bag rack to hold the bag steady and open but I liked the stay open feature, so I gave it a try with my chicken shawarma. The bag is solid, no leakage, holds the perfect amount, the seal is amazing, but the stay open feature didn't really work for me as you can see from the picture. The bag itself also wasn't secure standing on it's own. I just did not feel it was reliable as a stand alone product but as a storage container for the marinade, it was top notch as usual!

I put food items in them that I open that need to stay fresh. Also use them for travel bottles like shampoo and the bags stay sealed. They're durable so you can use them for a variety of things.

You can see on the bags themselves how to set them up. It will be so much easier to put away leftovers , especially sauces or soups, due to the style of these bags, I am curious to see how they will hold up in a freezer but have nothing but good impressions of this new style!
