I love these bags and think that they keep food extremely fresh for a longer amount of time. Especially when it comes to things that have to go in the freezer I feel the double zip definitely helps and you can tell it's sealed in very well. Would definitely recommend these bags to anyone not only for food but you can use them for a bunch of other things which is great!

And its prevents spillage as well. I use the bags to separate and store my costume jewelry. It helps my jewelry from tarnishing.

I always have Ziploc brand bags (freezer, sandwich, and storage) on hand, so I bought an 80-count of the storage bags and I have to say I'm disappointed. It's extremely difficult to open without tearing. I thought it was just me on the first bag but my boyfriend and daughter had the same issue with other bags. So now I have to be very careful opening the bags and even then they still tear. It's ridiculous! One of the ways I use it is to store dry cat food and have my kids be responsible for feeding our cats. Well this is not going to be pretty every time they have to open the bag. Not sure what happened to the quality of these bags but it makes me not want to buy Ziploc brand again.

I've tried a variety of storage bags and these are the best of them all. The thickness is just right. They aren't flimsy and can store a good amount of heavy food easily. They're pretty affordable too. The only tiny con is when the side is torn sometimes upon opening and closing. All in all, they're the best in the market for a reason.

The packaging suggested that the bags are designed to stay open so you can put the food in, and they do. These bags also resisted popping open once filled, even in the microwave.
