Besides food, I also use Ziploc bags for other things like keeping the kid's stationaries organized. Can do so much more with a Ziploc bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little technology makes a big difference. This simple update to the classic storage bag is great. Being able to fill my beloved Ziploc bags without any help or spilling is the extra feature I never knew I needed. This is perfect for saving anything that used to require an extra set of hands-from pasta salad to soups to fruit. The bag folds down on top and the bottom flattens and stays put. There is no mess. Because the top folds down, the liquid doesn't even get near the top, so it stays sanitary. I think this would be perfect for marinating chicken without the hassle. I'm so glad I was sent these Ziploc Stay Open Design bags to try in exchange for my review. I'm hooked and will definitely buy these from now on. Anything that makes my life a little easier is a win!

I have been using Ziplock bags for years and I really hate this new design with the "Stand up bottom". By creating the stand up bottom the SIDES ARE SHORTER of the bag. I rely on the length of the bags (both gallon and half gallon bags) to store multiple things in them and many of these things don't fit any more (ie. opened Bacon, meat packages, cheese, ect..) and these things no longer fit. As well the :stand up bottom" once filled DON'T STACK WELL IN FREEZER because they don;t lie flat, things get caught in the corners after freezing, and they flop all over the freezer (ie, blueberries, apples, ect...) I don;t want to upscale to larger size because that just adds more air to freezing. Please go back to the original design or at least offer that one to purchase as well. These "stand up bottom" has some advantages (with loose snacks, ect..) but shortening the bag by folding the sides doesn't make up for it. Perhaps a compromise would be to bring the sides back to original length or have a multipurpose pack with both kinds in it!

Ziploc gallon storage bags with grip and seal technology have the ability to stay open while you are filling them. I use storage bags for meal prep and things of that nature and have encounter very undesirable moments filling the bags when the would tip over and spill out. These bags are absolutely amazing and do exactly as they have advertised. Still upholding all other key qualities of a good ziploc bag. It's an absolute game changer.

They open without much effort, and they can even stand on their own as I fill them. They are great to use with liquids. The seal is tight and seals completely. There is no leakage. The bags are durable. I will be buying these again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Ziploc gallon bags with Stay Open Design for pouring all my leftover soups in without worrying about spilling. I also like to use these bags for marinading my meat and it makes it easy to pour the marinade and add the meat without having to fight to keep the bag open on the counter! The only downside is that I wish these bags had the slider to help seal the bags shut.

These bags are great, I usually avoid plastic bags due to having experience with them leaking in the past, but these work great. I have not had an issue with these Gallon bags. The bags are definitely a little thicker than others I have used, and the stay open design is definitely very helpful when trying to fill them. Will definitely buy again.

These are my go-to for all kinds of things. They're great for more than just storing food, although they are perfect for that. I also use them for organization. I tend to organize small parts for kids toys in them so all the parts for each toy stay together and don't get lost all over the house.

I love these ones with the slider because I never have to question if the bag is completely sealed. I have recently found reusable storage bags that I've started using more frequently, but these are great for on the go or when you're giving something away that needs to be packaged.
