[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are a bit pricey you can definitely find cheaper but these are heavy duty work really well and are large enough to fit big amounts and those stubborn food that wont fit in containers and saves space in your fridge

To be honest, I'm a terrible liar, so I'm always honest even if it gets me into trouble. I've always preferred resealable bags that have the zip lock instead of the slider bags. Ziploc storage bags seal better, are more study, and are less likely to puncture easily. I love that you can wash and reuse the gallon storage bags. It's also very convenient that you can use the bags in the microwave, such as steaming fresh veggies. You obviously will need to watch the bag in the microwave so you don't cause the bag to melt. I prefer the gallon size because there's many times that a quart size is just a tad bit too small. Oh, and I have no issues with using the storage gallon Ziploc bags in my freezer. Whatever I put in the bags to be frozen has never had a freezer burn, nor has the bags ripped open from tossing around other frozen foods in my freezer chest.

I have been using Ziplock bags for years and I really hate this new design with the "Stand up bottom". By creating the stand up bottom the SIDES ARE SHORTER of the bag. I rely on the length of the bags (both gallon and half gallon bags) to store multiple things in them and many of these things don't fit any more (ie. opened Bacon, meat packages, cheese, ect..) and these things no longer fit. As well the :stand up bottom" once filled DON'T STACK WELL IN FREEZER because they don;t lie flat, things get caught in the corners after freezing, and they flop all over the freezer (ie, blueberries, apples, ect...) I don;t want to upscale to larger size because that just adds more air to freezing. Please go back to the original design or at least offer that one to purchase as well. These "stand up bottom" has some advantages (with loose snacks, ect..) but shortening the bag by folding the sides doesn't make up for it. Perhaps a compromise would be to bring the sides back to original length or have a multipurpose pack with both kinds in it!

This new stay open feature amazes me, as now you don't need help for holding the bag to put your food in it. I always love their seal, it is easy to seal and open the bag. The seal is secure and make the bag airtight for food to stay fresh for longer period. The 1-gallon size is perfect for my needs. It offers ample space to store larger quantities of food, fruits, leftovers, or organize different stuff in the house. The Bottom side of the bag is well designed such that when you fill it stays open and upright while placed on a flat surface. These are very convenient for every purpose either in kitchen, travel or in home stuff organizing. These bags are strong, made up with good quality heavy duty plastic to store slightly bulky stuffs as well. I will definitely recommend these durable, good quality stay open ziploc bags to family and friends for storing food and other items conveniently.

They're very convenient to store food products in the refrigerator or take fruits and veggies while traveling or to have them as a snack at work. I always have Ziploc brand bags (freezer, sandwich, and storage) on hand, so I bought an 80-count of the storage bags and I have to say I'm disappointed. It's extremely difficult to open without tearing. I thought it was just me on the first bag but my boyfriend and daughter had the same issue with other bags. So now I have to be very careful opening the bags and even then they still tear. It's ridiculous! One of the ways I use it is to store dry cat food and have my kids be responsible for feeding our cats. Well this is not going to be pretty every time they have to open the bag. Not sure what happened to the quality of these bags but it makes me not want to buy Ziploc brand again.

These rip half the time when we try and open them. Have to open them from the sides, like you would a bag of chips, which doesn't work when filled with wet stuff. Also got an entire bag that was split at the top underneath the ziploc, like someone took a razor to it. And these things happen no matter where I buy them. I think I will only use the freezer style from now on.

Still as strong, durable and versatile. So easy and convenient to use saves so much time when filling it. I love that you can set up the bags in a line and leave them without propping them up for the lunch production line. Lifesaver when adding salad dressing. Great for all the usual food goodies but also great for storing all the little girl hair accessories as well as storing those precious handmade baby clothes.
