I like the new stay open design because you can pour liquids or whatever in there straight from the pan without having to scoop it up. It comes in handy and It's a very good edition to a regular ziploc.

Of course, once it gets so full, or if you're working with liquids, you'll need to brace it to keep from flopping over. But these are my gold standard for freezer bags!

The bag did move a little with the opening when I poured some sauce in it but a lot less than others. These are not made for the freezer, keep that in mind.

I usually buy the Ziploc Freezer Gallon. My first impression is that it's thinner than I'm used to. Nothing wrong with that. What impresses me is the ability of a stay open design for filling. This will help in adding things directly into the bag without the need to hold open. My only worry is the thickness of the plastic. Not yet sure how durable the Ziploc Storage Gallon is. Only time and use will tell. Since I regularly use the Ziploc brand, I'm currently confident with the Ziploc Storage Gallon I should be able to find many uses for this type of Ziploc.

They are my go to bag, they work way better than the store brand bags. Ziploc bags don't leak and have a good thick plastic so they don't tear either. I have been using Ziploc bags for a long time.

We love to sous vide meat before throwing in on the grill, but working with raw meat and marinade can be super messy! With the stay open design, I'm able to easily move food from the bowl into the bag during prep. I also just used these to pack cosmetics and sunblock for a vacation and was impressed by how much they hold. Thank you for sending me a free sample to try, Zip Loc! I loved that it was easy to open and easy to stay closed. There were no leaks at all and the diamond seal pattern on the bottom really helped with gripping it. This product is free of BPA which is wonderful as I'm conscious of what products I use. I would definitely recommend this product.

I store almost everything in these.. from leftovers to colored pencils and anything in between. They hold up great and are nice and think. They seal shut easily and the new ones with the stay open design make putting away leftovers a breeze! I just open the bag and put my hand down inside it for a second to set it up and then it stays open and sitting on the counter by itself when I pour whatever it is that I have leftover inside. They are a game changer! I received my box of these ziploc bags for free in exchange for an honest review but I will definitely be purchasing more of these when I run out!
