These bags are great, I usually avoid plastic bags due to having experience with them leaking in the past, but these work great. I have not had an issue with these Gallon bags. The bags are definitely a little thicker than others I have used, and the stay open design is definitely very helpful when trying to fill them. Will definitely buy again.

The seal stays shut, which is important. The stay open design makes it so convenient to fill them. They are strong enough to use a couple of times, and are mindfully made. I use them to store my raw chicken and put them in the freezer. They keep my chicken fresh for a couple of weeks when I'm not going to use it right away. I also use these bags to store opened packages of cookies and other treats that don't come in a resealable packaging and everything stays really fresh! 10/10 recommend!

Every other plastic bag I've used has to lay down on its side, and so is a pain, especially for liquids or things which needs to be poured/dumped in like salads or fruits/veggies from a big bowl. The only change I would make, though, is the seal. I often use bigger bags for marinating chicken and other proteins, and so my hands are really dirty, and I often only have one clean hand at best for closing the bag. This seal needs two hands; a zipper closure would be so much better, but it's a minor inconvenience as the seal works just fine and is better than standard plastic bags that don't have the special flap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ziploc sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. If we are using single use bags we go with Ziploc! They are study and lock great! We used them to sous vide steaks for dinner and they were perfect. When we were putting the steak and marinade they stood in their own. Making it much easier and cleaner than if we had to keep the bag open. Definitely recommend!

We can actually pour liquids and food with this new stay open design without using both our hands holding the bag and pouring the liquid in it. It is very convenient to use. Little time consuming as we have to open and fold the top covering and make it stay open but after we do it, it's easy go. No hassle of liquid falling down or holding the bags.

Zip lock is a staple brand. We know we can trust certain products to work and when it comes to containg food or other goods, ziplock has got it covered. I never have issues with these bags. Sometimes I go with the cheaper brands and the zipper comes off before I even get it open and it goes in the trash. This is one thing I'd recommend not skimping on! What I really like about these bags is the raised tab that's at the top of the bag to make it easier to open the bag. I think that's my favorite feature about it. I also Iike the reminder on the bag that you can fold the top down and fill the bag. I really like that feature as well. I think the bags themselves feel a little on the flimsy side. But other than that I really do like the product.

After I cut up a watermelon, I fill my Ziploc bags with watermelon, and it stays fresh for days. They work great when you want to fry up some chicken. Put all you seasonings and flour in the bag , add you chicken, close with the slider and shake your chicken, and fry!
