These bags are the perfect size. There are times the gallon size bags are to large and the quart size bags are too small . I have been using these freezer bags for years and they do exactly what they are meant to do. I freeze everything in them from meat to fruit. I called the manufacturer because I could not find these 1/2 gallon size bags anywhere. I was told that they were currently not producing them but they will be back in production soon. I was so excited when I saw them at Sam’s Club online that I purchased two packs (4 boxes each pack). As long as Ziploc bags are available, I will always use them.

These used to periodically be in our local store but I hadn’t seen them for quite a while and last year they were also unavailable online. I am glad they are back (and ordered two boxes)! What sets these apart is the expanding bottom of the bag, making it convenient to store lots of items that can’t go into other bags as conveniently. Try them, you’ll love them, and maybe Sam’s Club can make these a regular item!

I got this 1/2 gallon size in store a couple of years ago and found them perfect. Was so disappointed when I realized it was a limited time purchase. Was really excited when I saw them online. Quart size never seems to be never quite big enough and a gallon bag is usually overkill. The 1/2 gallon size is perfect for my storage needs without having a bunch of excess bag flopping around.

I've had no luck in finding these lately in the local stores (like many things during Covid year 2). They are the perfect size for freezing portions for 2 and the flat bottom allows them to sit upright while filling. Mostly I pre-brown ground beef with onion and garlic, drain very well, and scoop into these bags; then flatten and seal pressing the air out as I seal. They stack nice and flat in the freezer and make quick work of tacos or spaghetti (or anything with ground beef) on a busy work night - life savers. Love them and was so glad to find them I bought 2 cases!

I love these bags. The split bottom opens up to be flat and it really holds quite a bit. I like to put fresh cut up fruit in them or even pork chops, if separating a bulk package. They freeze flat and are easy to empty out!! The amount is great, especially this time of the year!!

The size of this bag is perfect for meal portions. The gallon bag would often have left over space, but the quart bag was too narrow. I love the wide top with the gusset at the bottom. Shipping from Sam's Club has always been on time or a day ahead of schedule.

I have waited for this item to return. My favorite size of ziploc. I don't need any other. I was disappointed that I could not buy in store and had to pay more to get delivered. Sam's Club please carry this in store. Ziploc please make it available all the time, not limited edition.

Love this size freezer bags. So glad Sams (online) started selling them again. Hopefully they will be in the stores soon. These bags are great for sauces, marinades. It’s also a great size when you need something bigger then a quart size bag and smaller then a gallon size bag.

I have been buying these half gallon freezer bags instead of the gallon size. Your leftovers fit well in these. Unless you have a lot of food to put in the gallon bags, you’re wasting space and money. These half gallon bags hold a lot of food in them.

Absolutely love that we found these bags. We freezer meal prep for just 2 people and gallon are too big but quart are too small. These are perfect. We can prep our meals for the week and freeze them without any issue. We haven't had any leaks or anything.
