I love Cheezits and always have! They are so good. I just bought a box and it tastes FLAT. Like no cheese and no salt. Very bland. I thought it was me but my husband ate some and brought the box in and said "what's wrong with these Cheezits?" For sure this isn't the original recipe. Very disappointing. They are going in the trash.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Cheez-It and it’s easily my go-to snack. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve bought a box of Extra Toasty and it’s come with almost no salt on it. The salt is what makes Cheez-It so good, and without it, the crackers taste bland and unfinished. Really disappointing, especially since I know how great these can be when they’re made right.

Cheez Its have been my favorite snack for years but the two most recent boxes I have purchased are not as salty as they should be. Many of the individual pieces have no salt baked onto the exterior at all. The saltiness is the best part of the Cheez IT, IMO, so this is disappointing.

Cheese Its used to be my absolute favorite crackers but somewhere over the past several years the flavor has changed, and not for the better. They used to be so delicious, and addicting. Now they taste terrible, and have a horrible after taste. After eating just a few I question myself as to why I'm even eating them, and I stop. I'm now stuck with a family size box that I don't have any desire to eat. I keep hoping with each box that I purchase that I'll be pleasantly surprised, and they will taste like they used to, but I've lost hope and will not bother purchasing them again.

These things have been my favorite go to snack for many years. I bought a box abouy a year ago and they just tasted off. Really different. So for the first time in years, there wasn't a box or two in the house at all times. Fast forward to today, I decided to give them another go. Sooo bland. The taste difference is extremely noticable to what they used to be. The best I can describe the flavor: Plain saltine crackers.

First of all, I love cheez-its, always have. However, I’ve never been a fan of the “extra toasty” ones, and even avoided any overdone ones in the regular boxes. So imagine my disappointment when the last 2 cheez-it original boxes (pantry size) were more like extra toasty boxes. I’m honestly hesitant to buy another box.

Is it true? No more petroleum-based food dyes? I love Cheez-its and stopped buying them because of the petroleum-based dyes. I happened to read the ingredients recently at the store and noticed the petroleum-based dyes were not there. This was my favorite snack, and I miss it! Yummy! Since I/we have taken so many items out of our diet that contain petroleum dyes and preservatives, we have really noticed a difference. If this is true, then I have my favorite snack back, and I don't care if it changes the flavor a little. I appreciate it!

The original cheez-it’s are very popular snack in our household however, the last few times I have bought a family size box I ended up throwing it away. Pretty much every cracker that came out of those boxes were burned and it was horrible. Now I’m questioning whether or not I should continue buying them or was it just a fluke. I hope this isn’t a new trend. I hesitate to purchase anymore and spend all that money for something I’m gonna have to throw away.

The last box I got tastes completely different. Not enough cheese flavor and not enough salt. They used to be addictive but that is no longer the case. I will be buying the cheaper store brand from now on because I no longer can tell the difference. You’ve lost a customer

I have enjoyed Cheez-it for at least 60 years. But no more. Apparently Kellanova has decided that they can make a few more pennies by selling junk. The new version of Cheez-it is thin and hard in texture, underbaked (no longer lightly browned and airy-crispy) and nearly lacking in cheese flavor. Comparing the ingredients list and nutritional information with the former version strongly suggests that less cheese is used. I won't be buying these anymore, or any other Kellanova products!
