I've been buying these cat treats for a long time now. My cat loved them until recently. I couldn't figure out why until I compared the old 20 oz container that we just finished to the new 16 oz container. The treats are completely different now. Seems the formula has changed. My cat now won't eat any of the flavors at all, just sniffs them and walks away. I'm not sure if Sam's club ordered something different as the treats are different shape with a different middle to them now, or if temptations is just cost cutting and using crappier ingredientsm. But whatever it is, the treats are no longer desired by my cat so I will no longer buy them.

Our Kitty LOVES these things, I keep the treats by the coffee pot, he greets us every morning there waiting on his treat. I think that he thinks the coffee pot makes the treats. LOL

I have two cats. The youngest is very fussy about food. They have always shown a preference for these treats over their regular cat food and I have tried various dry cat foods over the years to determine their preference. We recently went out of town for a week and a good friend dog and cat sit for us. When We returned, the cats made it clear that their normal food is their “least favorite”…akin to children and vegetables. I hide Temptations treats throughout their dry food so they have to eat and dig to find them. Nevertheless, they go to great lengths to remind me it is “treat time.” A while back, they knocked over a 30 oz tub and worked together to get the lid off so they could have an “all you can eat buffet.” I have read comments on other online site calling this “kitty crack.” It doesn’t act like a drug but it makes them sooo happy to have these treats. I would love any suggestions in how to get them to resume eating their nutritious food while still giving them the treats they truly love.
