Very quiet, much easier to use, sliding top cover makes it much safer with small children around and the much larger catch can is very easy to empty.....Totally satisfied customer

This is our second Royal shredder. The first one lasted 10+ years. I shredded almost constantly for 3-4 hours and no problems were encountered. It does not create pieces as small as our old scanner. We kept the old one for less intensive use.

I use my shredder in order to cut down on paper over load. It is also a perfect way to eliminate your junk mail carrying personal information . My last one cut in strings ,at times I could recognize a whole line of words. Now, I am loving the cross-cut, because nothing is detected in the bin.

I was replacing a shredder that didn't seem to work anymore and was several years old. I was expecting a slick new shredder with some improvements. First, there were very few instructions as to how to feed and how to empty and what to put in and what not to put in. I filled the bin very quickly, it seemed to me. It does have a Stop light and mechanism on it when "full"; not exactly. Then I had to get the grindings out: good luck! Tried to put a trash liner in it as my old one; it went on but when taken out, it had fallen on one side and torn on the other! So, tried to suspend plastic trash liner on something else and pour the contents into it; lots of confetti! There is a LOT of improvements that could be made.

It is a very nice shredder for the money. I shopped around and this by fr was a better value, It look really nice too. I am gad i picked this,

this is a great product and value, works well, sturdy and meets my office needs

The paper feed is a little slow but it doesn't seem to bog down like many paper shredders.

This shredder is great with a lot of power and very quiet.
