Great toaster oven. We use all the time to do almost any kind of baking -- it heats up way quicker than a normal oven and almost anything normal can fit in there! Heat distribution is pretty good/even because of the small size and convection feature.

Bought this at one of the retailers maybe 2 years ago. Had to be ordered in since they did not carry this BOV845BSS. Anticipated using it instead of full size oven since there is just me to cook for. Used it probably a dozen times; last time I wentto use it -- only the toast function comes up on the digital screen, Can't get it to move it any other function. Paid more than I normally would have because of the extra functions/all in one capabilities. So I am more than disappointed that it has catastrophic failure after so few uses. Would like to believe this is an oddity, but saw a couple of reviews that also mentioned the LCD screen too. Apparently should have done more research and not just rely on the name. To spend as much as I did and now have it not work, is heartbreaking for a retiree.

As with others- Mine is at about two years old with non heavy use- turned on toaster and a little boom, burn smell, and the elements now do not work. Lights still on etc. A higher end product (and even a lower end one) hsould not be doing this nor should the replacement be expensive nor should a warranty be 1 year- i guess breville knows what its doing. Expects people to buy in every two years- guess what- change of brands and such reviews will make you lose far more money in lost reveniue than the cost of a better component or better warranty or sending a new one to your previously loyal customers. Well done Breville. Great business sense.

This is our second Breville oven. The first on lasted 15 years. We love it and use it instead of firing up our Wolf large gas oven for most things. It handles a 9X13 inch pan as well as a standard pie pan and the temperature accuracy is spot on. This newer version has a few upgrades that we like, too, especially the light. Pretty stylish design, too, that goes well in our newly upgraded kitchen.

The Smart Oven is a versatile addition to our kitchen. The large size is handy for toasting more than just a few slices of bread and often allows us to avoid using the oven for smaller batches of roasted vegetables and other dishes. Great for frozen pizza. The controls are easy to use and offer a wide range of options. The automatic light at the end of a cycle is a great feature as is the magnetic door that slides the rack out for easy access.

We used our oven every day for about two years now, and will continue to do so. The fan started growling and at first I thought it was just loose on the shaft. Last night when I looked inside the oven through the slits on the side I could see that the fan had seized, so it will stay off. I tried blowing air on it, and it spins when the oven is off, but when you turn the oven on the fan seizes up again. Can it be repaired?

A great unit if you can live without the convection fan after about 1 year, if you are lucky. We had to exchange the first model 3 times in 18 months. Now, the last unit (#4) is just past 12 months and dead, so we have to live without convection now. Kitchen Aid for our next unit for sure.

This is a great toaster oven. Unfortunately, it lasted only 11 months and needed to be replaced. The process for a free replacement by Breville is very simple and quick. I hope that this one lasts a lot longer. The Cuisinart toaster oven which this one replaced lasted 12 years.

Bought this in 2018 to use during hot summer months, so it was used a little in 2018 and not at all since. Took it out yesterday to use and discovered the FUNCTION knob is not working, it's stuck on TOAST everything else seems to be ok. I hope there's an easy inexpensive fix for this before I junk it.

I LOVED this countertop oven. I live in AZ and it's too hot most of the year to want to turn on the oven. This countertop oven saved energy and worked great, until, it didn't. One night I was heating up a frozen meal and it made a sound like an airplane landing on my roof. Seriously. Scared me to death. Turns out it was the heating element and it totally stopped working. I've been through the "repair" process with Breville on another appliance, and, no thank you. It's costly, time consuming and I ended up with a refurbed appliance that also died shortly after I got it. I want to buy a replacement, but hardly dare to. I referred this product to others, and both of theirs stopped working, too. Such a shame.
