This is an excellent product. I only took 1 star off; as I'm not sure why Shell is the only company that sells 4 quart (1 gallon) jugs. Most vehicles take between 4-5 quarts. So I end up having to buy two of these gallon size jugs, just for the extra 0.5 quart. I'd be perfectly fine, if they made 5 quart containers and raised the price to $28.09 (which is still $5.62 per quart). As far as the oil itself, it is excellent oil. Although, it's not officially approved by VW; many folks have used it for hundreds of thousands of miles with zero wear on the camshafts of these PD engines. I use it on my 2006 VW Jetta TDI (BRM) diesel motor. I've used for about 20k miles and I change my oil every 5k miles. The oil itself seems to perform very well.

I have been using ROTELLA Full Synthetic for 10 years in my Honda ST1300. I Change it every fall when putting the bike away for the winter. I have 180000 km on the bike. It does not burn a drop of oil. This bike is not a stranger to the far side of the speedometer.

Rotella t is one of the best diesel oils ever. And Walmart has the best prices on it AND they will deliver it to the house? Critical for someone like me who has disabilities. Walmart's delivery service is more than a convenience, it is a lifeline for those with disabilities.

I have been running T6 in my Kawasaki touring bike for over 45'000 miles and does it ever work great. My engine runs very hot and there have been no oil breakdown and no clutch slippage even pulling my touring trailer. The price sure beats the ten dollar a quart "motorcycle oils". It has the JASO MA rating that Kawasaki requires

Started using Shell 5w40 T-6 in my Cummins 2 years year round. Very happy with it. Even in -30 C the engine starts fairly easy and the gauge shows oil pressure right away. Also use the Shell 15w40 in my motorcycles with the wet clutch . This oil has the JASO MA rating for wet clutch applications to prevent the clutch from slipping. Oil with the JASO-MA does not have the additive which makes the oil extra slippery for engine oil applications. I have also used the 15w40 in my vehicle engines in the summer. Very happy with the result.

I used to run this oil in my Victory Cross Country, but I did feel the clutch slipping from time to time. Like most Harley guy's, I was very finicky with how I maintain my bike. I purchased an S&S 124CI kit for my Road Glide and was waiting for the parts to arrive. I still needed to ride until then, but my bike needed an oil change so I took the chance because I knew how well my Victory ran with it, plus I was just trying to be cheap since I had to dump the oil anyway for the new motor build and I didn't have to worry about it slipping because I did not use it on the primary or transmission side. At the end of the day I'm glad I tried it and I love it so much, Im selling the 124CI and gonna be content with just a Cam upgrade. The bike runs so smooth, quite and MPG went up. Its like a brand new bike with 34k miles on it. I will continue to run this as motor oil and use recommended oil for the primary and transmission going forward. This product is the best thing the shelf.

I started using this oil about 3 or 4 years ago in my 2006 Kawasaki 1600 Nomad as an alternative to the high priced Honda factory oil I was getting. This stuff is great, my clutch doesn't "hang up" anymore and actually shifted more smoothly right away when I first switched over. Yes it is Jaso rated for wet clutches!!

bike is a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C90...Perfect. Great clutch feel and shift effort is nil. No ticking in the engine. and the cost is amazing. And on my 2016 Ram EcoDiesel, the factory oil was running almost one hundred dollars (10.5Qt required), now that Ram said "OK" to Rotella, im down around 60US! Awesome

This oil is made for hot running engines and we know what heat does to things. Many Harley Davidson riders have gone to this because it has all the protection that an air cooled engine needs. We all know how many miles a diesel truck puts on the road while delivering across the nation and how many times we have sat behind one waiting. Heat is the enemy of oil and keeping the engine parts slick is long life for the engine. When you start that engine for the first time in the morning it has parts that need to be coated and slick... that's where Rotella comes in and it adjusts through the day's temperature and the season temperature. Engine manufactures have determined that it should be changed at or around the 5,000 mile mark.

I've been putting the T-6, 5/40 in my '09 Yamaha 1900cc air cooled Raider for about 6 years now as a winter weight oil. It starts a lot better than with the 20/50 and it's been running great for years with absolutely no oil burning. Bike has 50,000 miles on it now. Great friggin' product. Love it.
