The last three boxes of Kraft Original Macaroni and Cheese Dinner (7.25 oz., 18 pk.) we purchased from Sam's Club have been very odd.  When boiling  the elbow macaroni for 10 minutes (fthe box suggests 11-12 minutes), my wife noticed that the elbows had begun to "break up".  By the time the cheese was added and it was done, we could hardly find any macaroni that had retained its shape.  I took photos (attached) and also noticed that some of the uncooked macaroni appeared to be "cracked".  Please refer to the photos--they're worth a thousand words.  I would have expected more from what used to be a quality company!  (BTW, the taste was good, but the texture...well, much less than desired.

Kraft Mac & Cheese

After cooking and tasting this version for club purchase this is not the same as buying in the supermarket. The macaroni is mushy. Even when I undercooked it to try and make it al dente it didn't help and cheese packet has no flavor. I will not be buying this again.

This will be the last time I purchase this. Shame on me for trying again. This is the third time (recently) I have purchased this box of mac and cheese, although I have purchased many times in past years with no problems at all.  The last 3 bulk boxes I have bought have all been so full of the powdery substance that helps to cook the noodles. However, it has so much of it in them that it makes the noodles mushy and gross. Even if I try to under cook it so it doesn’t mush up while mixing everything together, it still turns to mush.  It’s disgusting and a waste of time and money.  I don’t know why I thought next time would be better.  I just thought I got a bad batch from the factory or maybe the last of a certain batch and the bottom of the powder pit went into my boxes. Nope has happened 3 times within the last year.  Never before 2024 did I have this issue.  Do better Kraft!

Makes Mushy Mac and Cheese. Yuck!

My youngest daughter absolutely loves Kraft macaroni and cheese! She will not eat anyone’s macaroni and cheese if she doesn’t think it’s Kraft! We can’t keep enough of it in the house. The flavor is amazing, it’s creamy and is definitely a favorite in my house!
