Miracle Whip is just that - a miracle!

I grew up with this dressing. What’s not to like? Yes, I use mayonnaise, too, but there are many times you just have to have Miracle Whip for that dash of flavor that can’t be beat! It’s versatile and creamy - just what you need when whipping up a batch of chicken or tuna salad. LOVE IT!

Staple Item! 😋

My Mom raised us on this instead of mayonnaise...I'm guessing to save money. I now love mayo but STILL MUST HAVE Miracle Whip on my BLT's, burgers %26 certain sandwiches. I'm never without it! Certain flavor profiles with MW take me back to my childhood...BIG TIME comfort food!

Miracle Whip, a miracle of taste

The taste is not sweet or sour, it has a tangy, delicious taste. I carried a sandwich of peanut butter and Miracle Whip ("salad dressing" as it was called when I was in my teens.) to school every day from 7th grade thru high school. I graduated high school in 1956 and I still use Miracle Whip every day in my sandwich for lunch and I'm 88 years young. It's called Miracle Whip because it's a "miracle" of taste, there's nothing else in the world that tastes like it. It was derived in the 1940's during the Depression, due to the lack of eggs, to be a counterpart of mayonnaise. Try it, you'll love it, I do.

When your mainstay is replaced by musty.

I certainly do wish I could understand people preferring musty tasting Mayonnaise over a food that has Taste - adds to whatever I use it in and for. New boarder and I were eating of a large macaroni salad I had made. I complained and apologized that I had done really wrong and that I was throwing it away. She said hers was okay... As I'm tossing mine with all the macaroni, eggs, celery, and seasoning she comes i n the kitchen and asked me where I kept my Mayonnaise - whereupon I told her I do not will not use Mayonnaise, and haven't since my husband, then deceased, had me use Miracle Whip once we were married. Never would I go back, once I'd experience the flavor of Miracle Whip. I pointed down to the lowest shelf of the refrigerator as she opened the door, saying there's my Miracle Whip, as she lifted up a jar the same size I use but boldly saying Mayonnaise on it. When she moved in she had moved my mainstay to the back of the bottom shelf and put her musty (HA) tasting Mayonnaise in its place. I am so used to grabbing my M.W. and as the jars are too similar I had not noticed. I then simply picked up the bowl of large, and ruined macaroni salad and tossed it in the garbage bin.

We grew up eating Miracle Whip throughout our childhood! I can remember eating it on our cheeseburgers, egg sandwiches, lunch meat sandwiches, and etc... Found this 30 oz bottle for a fantastic price and bought it to bring back the 90's Nostalgia! 🙃 Great Deal!!

Shrinkflation continues to touch every faucet of our life but this product seems to have maintained a balance. In addition, unlike soooo many other name brand products this one has maintained a reasonable facisimile of its 1970's and '80s taste. Not many products do sadly.

What An Amazing Deal! Recipe Included!

Our family uses Miracle Whip when it's affordable, and this is an amazing deal! We also use the GV brand, which is almost as equally good. Sometimes we will blend the two together. Miracle Whip is smooth and creamy, the perfect thickness, and just adds great flavor to everything. It's funny how some people say "ewwww" when Miracle whip is mentioned and they only use mayonnaise, but then they add vinegar and sugar, and what do you get? The same similar flavor as MW, so why not just buy it? If you want to make the best side dish with Miracle Whip, here's my recipe... Cheesy Miracle Whip Potatoes: 3 pounds potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks 1 %26 1/2 pounds of Great Value Melt N Dip (Great Value version of Velveeta), cut into chunks 1 cup of Miracle Whip 8 slices of bacon, fried crispy, crumbled 3 to 4 green onions, diced (optional) salt and pepper to taste Boil potatoes to barely fork tender (they will continue cooking in the oven). Drain the potatoes and put into a box mixing bowl. Add cheese cubes, Miracle Whip, crumbled up bacon, salt, and pepper. Spread potato mixture into a 9x13 greased pan and bake uncovered at 350° for about 30-45 minutes until lightly golden and bubbly. Top with chopped green onions, if desired. The flavor is absolutely delicious and your family will be left wanting more.

Love Miracle Whip. I’ve been trying all of the mayonnaise products and they all have too much soy. That is all you can’t taste. Miracle Whip changed their recipe a few years back but greed gets everybody. I’m not making it from scratch. This imo is the best at option.

I Need A Bigger One

I choose Miracle Whip over mayonnaise every time and the best is Miracle Whip. So don’t bother with the knock off brands that are just oily and bland tasting. The size is big for some but I go thru a jar this size in a month to a month and a half. Would I buy a bigger one.. you can bet I would. It’s just me and my son but we don’t eat out and make every breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner at home. Saved us a ton of money and we eat better.

I have always liked Miracle Whip. I love the taste and texture and the fact that if you go on a picnic with it or you made some stuffed eggs with it and you're out in the heat it's not going to go bad and make everybody sick. When you use mayonnaise you have to be very careful to keep it cold right up until the time of it being served. Otherwise you can get sick from it. I'm 70 years old and I can remember eating this on my sandwiches and in making stuff bags as far back as I can remember. I don't know what year it came out, but it must have been when I was awful young or before I was born. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants a good tasting product to make their salads like macaroni salad or any other type of pasta salad. Also for making stuffed eggs and making your own salad dressings.
