While Hellmanns Mayonnaise is usually required where one might debate with oneself between the two, there ARE a few situations that need Miracle Whip. 1) Vidalia onion spread...if mayo is used, it separates during the baking and leaves a bunch of oil on top. I'm not sure why that doesn't happen with things like hot chicken salad, but regardless, use MW when making your Vidalia onion spread. Trust me on that. 2) Ham sandwiches...use mustard too, or don't, it makes me no nevermind. But the ham is set off better by MW than mayo. 3) The only other thing I can think of is on toast. As a young teenager, some 40 years ago, I liked to toast bread and spread on MW while it was hot. My mother never kept mayo around, so I never tried that, and haven't even made MW toast since leaving home, but there you have it. Yes, Miracle Whip DOES have a place in this world. And it lasts forever, even after opening, so go ahead and keep both on hand.

My husband told me when we got married that there is only one reason he would file for divorce & that would be, if I ran out of Miricle Whip. Meadless to say, we are still happily married. I know some people are mayonnaise people and others are Miracle Whip groupies. I'm the second one. These are great in deviled eggs and on fish. I've never used it on a plain salad, but it has a zillion other uses in this household. It's sweeter than the mayo and glides easily on sandwiches or crackers. There's literally hundreds of recipes that use this little gem. I think I've tried at least 30.

This product is a good replacement for the original Mayonnaise. Personally I prefer this over the real thing. This is less tangy and still smooth. I would say this is healthier but not a doctor. I do however feel that it is as there are less cholestoral in this then the real thing.

Miracle Whip has been my favorite since I started eating sandwiches! When I was finally old enough to tell the difference in taste( when my mom bought the “ generic or store ” brand), I thought anything other than Kraft could go in the garbage! I eat Miracle Whip on all of my lunch meat sandwiches. My favorite one to use it with is the Turkey in the fridge that's left over from Thanksgiving! Yum!! Great taste from the two of them!

When it comes to mayonnaise I will always get Miracle Whip. I love the sweetness that this brand brings into the game. I have no thoughts on improvement because this product has always been great. I love it especially in egg salad and on a ham sandwich.

I grew up on this brand and always used it in place of mayonnaise in salads and for sandwiches. Today, my own family still uses it and rarely try a different one unless my favorite is out of stock. It is a good quality product and popular brand. It tastes great and is reasonably-priced. Highly recommend you try it.

OK I never bought miracle whip and a 30 pound pail, I swear! I do use the original miracle whip for a substitution of mayonnaise. Miracle whip has a distinct tanginess and sweetness that will change the whole flavor of a dish. Definitely give it a try on a sandwich or in a potato salad. You won't regret it.

Miracle Whip is my go-to when I make certain dishes like coleslaw texture is wonderful healthy wise I think it tends to be a little bit more healthier than mayonnaise like I said I use it for coleslaw and bologna sandwiches that's really basically all I use it for

I practically used to skate by miracle whip in the grocery store because I always had this idea that it could never compare to traditional mayonnaise. This serves to be the epitome of not judging a book by it's cover because it is THE perfect alternative to mayo and I love it for my burgers and tuna sandwiches.
