[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has a really large capacity. I didn't realize the difference between my old washer and this new one until I started to do my laundry. I can fit more in, and it seems to wash really well and really quietly. Don't forget to put in an item, though! Once you start it, you can't open the door until the complete cycle has finished.

I purchased my Samsung front loader about three years ago. I am so disappointed in it. It molded around the rubber seal within one year, so it constantly smells moldy. They instruct you to leave the door open so that does not happen but then you have a puddle in front of your washer because the door has water still around it. So my new flooring is getting ruined. It needs a lot of maintenance, like running the self clean cycle with bleach inside the drum to prevent molding. Wiping down the rubber seal around the door after every wash. I just wish someone would have informed me of these issues before we purchased it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to replace my old Samsung washer and I was looking for an Energy Star appliance and low water usage, since I am on a well. The washer has all the features I was looking for and doesn't use a lot of water. The perfect washer for my household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this washer for almost a year now and it works well. It uses less water than our old top loading washer and still gets the clothes clean. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to leave it open or it smells bad, and the filter/drain is hard to catch the water unless it’s on a pedestal.

here is the major issue - and it is a big one! once you start your washer and after 1 minute - you can't add any more items. the only way to unlock the door is to let the cycle finish. so what you add won't be washed - but will be rinsed, at least. i tried everything from unplugging for a couple of hours (5 minutes was supposed to do it) or pushing several buttons for 10 seconds as advice on google. i even had 2 service calls and still have the same problem. i haven't had another machine in the last 2 decades do that. otherwise, it is a satisfactory low end machine.

Constant odor. Cleaning machine makes no difference. Must leak into inaccessible areas. Have to keep door open all the time to avoid overpowering mildew odor which doesn’t make one feel confident about sanitary conditions for washing items. This started almost immediately. Huge hassle to try to get service. Gave up. Also, legs won’t stay balanced long. Had my previous (NOT Samsung) washer for over 10 years. Should have kept it. This one is terrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this with matching dryer, The features and matched performance of the two units are excellent. We purchased the option to stack the units and use a single key set for both washer and dryer. This works very well and is not a issue for a family member who is not tall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer ok but the offer for the e-certificate is a straight up scam. This is the 2nd time I purchased the washer. It tends to get a little uneven, but cleans fine if you read the instructions (which aren't included).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had my washer for a few months, so pretty hard to give a thorough review. I wish the door was reversible. I would like it to open left to right. Still undecided on the vibration reduction. Seems to vibrate more than I expected. The machine does a great job getting the clothes clean and I love the choices for the type of wash and still be able to change some of the settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new washer. Installing it was a breeze. Compared to my older washer this washer is so quiet outside of my laundry room I can’t even tell it’s running. My clothes are super clean now. The features are amazing. I am confident that no matter how small or large the load is they will come out clean. I have a large family so I am constantly doing laundry and what used to take me two full days now takes just one day. The different cycles make it easy to do super small delicate loads and huge soiled loads with ease. Super easy to understand what cycle I need for my dirty items. Super pleased with this machine.
