This is 100% worth every penny. I have used this on my front door, windows and the surrounding drafty areas around the house. It used to be so drafty in my living room and all the heat would just drift through the cracks, not to mention the cold air outside was coming inside. Now I can sit comfortably in there without being wrapped up in a blanket. I haven't had it long enough to see if there is a difference in my electricity bill, but I am sure it will. I haven't heard the heating unit kick on as much as it used to. I have already ordered a few more. I greatly recommend this.

Alien Seal was easy to install and, about 2 weeks in, still does what it claims to do. When going up multiple sides of a door there doesn't seem to be an easy way to make corners with the tape that doesn't result in some of the tape curling up, but I was able to get this installed on two doors in just a few minutes and it is noticeably left drafty in front of both doors. One of those doors has a curved/dome top so it was a little harder to negotiate, but since I don't open that door very often I think the tape will hold up fine. If I used the curved door everyday I think I would constantly be having to readjust the tape. The door I use every day is a just a regular door, and the tape does very well being left alone there. It has been on for a few weeks now and has held up well to the regular openings and closings of the door.

I've only had it installed for a week and it seems to be working so far. The 2 surfaces are not exactly even over the entire length resulting in several small gaps that will require an additional seal strip, like a foam or rubber, to completely seal. I'm very curious to test the reuse capabilities.

Saves money and keeps my house free from drafts around my doors

My apartment is in an approximately 120 year old building, .It is lovely—12 foot ceilings and windows 42 inches wide by 8 feet tall. Unfortunately, the windows were never upgraded and time and the elements have created multiple spaces around the frames that allow breezes to come through. The Alien tape is invisible, is adhering well, and the breezes have been stopped! Very Happy.

It seems like a good quality product but to be honest it works OK. I put it on one of my doors and the draft is cut down but not completely eliminated it is see-through so that can be a plus, but for my purpose I don't think it works as well as I would've liked. I have not tried it on the windows or other drafty places so I can't confirm how it will work there but considering I got three rolls of the stuff I probably will give it more of a shot. Your mileage may vary, IMO

First, I found that one roll was enough to line the perimeter of one small door. and for me, that was sufficient. Second, the application was simple enough, but it wasn't always intuitive to know whether to adhere it to the door edges or edges of the door molding around the door. The flaps sometime get stuck in the hinge area of the door when the door is opened. That doesn't necessarily hamper the seal and render it ineffective, but it could pose a problem if the gap between the door and its molding is too small. Overall, it worked well to prevent drafts around one of my doors, but I can imagine other situations in which it may not work so well.

what did I dislike? everything. especially overpriced

Product was an excellent choice. It was perfect for ceiling areas in my camper that I was getting too much draft would purchase again.
