[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this bed has worked well for our family. We transitioned our 2-year-old from a standard crib to this bed. We appreciated the fact that we could easily switch over his standard crib mattress to this frame, and it seems he will fit in this bed for years to come. He loves it and loves that he can climb in all by himself. It feels safer than a traditional toddler bed that is raised higher, as he doesn't have far to fall. The bed frame is a nice, neutral color that will fit almost any design/color scheme. I think my son likes that the bed frame looks like a "fort," but he does sometimes hit his head entering/exiting the bed. The assembly is quite involved; it took over an hour for my husband and I to assemble together. It wasn't a difficult assembly, just time consuming because each piece is separate. Not a big deal overall, but this bed frame will likely not fit through a standard door frame, so keep that in mind if you ever plan to change rooms. I enjoy that you can use the bed frame with/without the upper frame. One of my biggest gripes is that there are SO many screws showing at all times (see photos). I was surprised the screws couldn't instead be moved to the side/back of the crib. It would even be better if the screw ends were painted white or had covers. It just makes an otherwise nice-looking piece of bed look much cheaper. Seems like an odd design miss. Again, not a big deal overall, but something to note. The Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed is a very nice piece of furniture and the perfect way to transition my toddler from his crib to a “big boy bed”. While it's going to take him some getting used to before he will sleep in it through the night, the look of it is fun and getting him excited to make the change. I really appreciated the ease of assembly for this bed. The instructions were clear and simple to understand. The materials are nice and sturdy, and knowing that it's got a non-toxic coating definitely provides some peace of mind too. Overall, this is an excellent piece for furniture that I would recommend to any parents.

It makes a really fun and cozy nook during the day. I will sometimes drape a blanket over it and they will crawl in there to play or “read”. I love that it sits on the floor. I don't have to worry about my 18 month old rolling out or trying to get up and down on his own. It also comes with parts to use it as just a bed and have the top part stand on its own to be used as a play house. Which I think would be fun as he gets older. It did come slightly damaged. The material it's made out of doesn't take dings very well. However the non-toxic coating doesn't rub off and is easy to wipe down. The instructions that come with it are very detailed and made for a very quick and easy assembly. I had it all put together in less than 20 minutes which is a huge plus for busy moms like me. I was worried it would take up too much space as we still share our room with our toddler, but it fit perfectly in our room! Overall this is a great bed for littles and such a fun design.

I set it up as a daybed in the playroom, and my 21-month-old daughter absolutely loves it. These days, she invites all her dolls to the bed to play hide-and-seek or just to lie down and relax. Assembling the bed was a breeze—it was simple enough that even my daughter could "help" me. Honestly, if it weren't for her help (haha), I could have finished it in 30 minutes. With her assistance, it took about 50 minutes total. I was pleasantly surprised that I could assemble it all by myself as a mom, and no extra tools were needed beyond what was provided. The manual wasn't complicated at all, and the ease of assembly was definitely my favorite part. If I had to mention some downsides, there was a rather strong chemical smell when I first opened the box, despite it being non-toxic paint. I might just be extra sensitive to smells, but thankfully, the odor completely disappeared by the next day. Also, perhaps because of the design, the edges are quite sharp. I wish the posts and any areas where a child might bump into were rounded or cylindrical. It's a bit sad to have to put safety bumpers on such a beautiful design. Additionally, when my daughter stands up in the corner, her foot sometimes gets stuck between the mattress and the railing. It's not enough to cause an injury, but I think a solid panel instead of slats might have prevented this issue. Overall, I am very happy with this product. The design is beautiful and makes the house feel so lovely—but most importantly, my daughter loves it so much. I think she'll enjoy turning it into her own little den as she gets older. It feels sturdy with a pretty simple build (really well organized parts and hardware) and easy to follow instructions, which we were able to complete in about an hour. I especially love that it has the flexibility to be used as an entire stylish floor bed or both a floor bed and a cute little house shaped play area to encourage imaginative play! The bright white coordinated beautifully with the rest of my nursery furniture and gratefully, has non-toxic coating which puts my mama heart at ease. The way this toddler bed fits right into the space where her crib was makes the transition of my growing girl much more comforting and easier. If you're a Montessori (or Montessori-inspired) mom who loves the freedom your toddler gets and the safety from a floor bed (just ensure your other furniture is anchored to the wall!), and doesn't want to compromise style, this is a beautiful choice. The house-style structure is clearly so exciting for my kids to see and it looks so inviting. However, we did realize we may have tried to transition her to the floor bed a little early, so I think we're going to pivot and convert the bed into a little house shaped play area (with the parts included) for now while she returns to the crib, and I really love that they offered that thoughtfulness and flexibility when creating the Little Seeds Trellis toddler floor bed. We landed on Montessori-style beds that would encourage independence and freedom of movement. We prefer beds that are low to the ground in general, both for safety and for her to be able to enter and leave independently. The design is simple but really fosters creativity and imagination. She can easily get in and out and the size is perfect for toddlers to lay comfortably without being overly large or bulky. It's also not heavy to move around if we need to, and was very easy to assemble. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. If the trellis is not wanted, it can be easily removed to only leave the bed frame itself. We do love having it on the bed though, and draping a sheet over for her to play in. Overall, we love it and our toddler does too. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a bed that's good for play and developing imaginations as well. This bed is a great quality and very sturdy. My son just transitioned to a toddler bed and he seems to love it! He sleeps very well in the bed. The bed was somewhat easy to put together, it took two of us to finish it because we needed to hold some of the pieces in place. The only concern I have with this bed is the trellis piece on the top. While it's not directly in my son's reach, I am slightly concerned he is going to try and climb or swing on them. He loves to climb and has seemed interested in attempting to. I appreciate the quality and how well made this bed is. My son is always on the go and a big mover and the bed feels like it will stand up to him with no problem.
