Not worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed when unboxing the Nutribullet Chill was the weight of it. It's not lightweight by any means, so I'd give it 2 stars for portability. As for the use of the machine, it does what it's intended to do, with some initial complications. I blended milk, cream, sweetener, bananas, peanut butter, and a pinch of salt, then poured the mixture into the Nutribullet Chill container. I put the top on (which didn't fit properly or securely- kept popping up) I froze for 27 hours, (directions say at least 24) then proceeded to use the machine. I had an issue with a red light coming on while putting the pieces onto the machine and locking it. So I had to try at least 5-6 times to maneuver it onto the machine until it finally worked and the selections illuminated. I selected the “ice cream” setting and pressed the button to start the process. It did mix the contents thoroughly, (with a blade rotating up and down- from top to bottom of container). However, the machine is loud! I would give it 2 stars for the noise of the motor while in use. At the current price point, I would not buy this item. I don't think it's something I would use often enough to justify the cost. The ice cream itself looked good, and tasted fine, but the consistency and the texture was not like traditional ice cream. That could be due to the ingredients I used, or how it was prepared before using the Nutribullet chill.

Not like what we expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited for this machine to make ice cream especially my daughters. We looked up a few recipes. Follow the instructions, but the ice cream turned out just like snow cone. It wasn't good. I feel like this machine just like a blender but stronger. We had to freeze the liquid before making that into ice cream. This machine isn't like the one that freezes the liquid while making the ice cream We were a little disappointed

good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this machine and think it is a good option to the competitors. I like how slim the machine is. I do think it is a little loud. It is very easy to use and does what it's supposed to. I haven't had any problems with it.

Great little ice cream maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact ice cream maker makes the perfect amount for a small family or couple. We have used the frozen yogurt, ice cream and sorbet settings so far and each delivered smooth and creamy results in just a few minutes. It does require some planning since your base needs to freeze overnight, but a traditional ice cream maker requires similar prep. Overall love how simple it is to use and clean, and how little space it takes up in the cabinet!

Making ice cream with fresh ingredients is the best !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NutriBullet Chill Ice Cream Maker is nice and compact and does not take up lots of space in my pantry. I noticed that using the recipes in the manual did much better for making ice cream that some random ones on the internet. I started using the ones in the manual and varied the flavors and made some really good ice cream varieties. Storing the ice cream after I used the cups it came with and think I will get more after so I can have a variety made in my freezer. Its really nice to be able to make ice cream that doesn't have any extra added ingredients. It tastes so fresh! The noise while making it is similar to a blender and it mixes the ice cream so quickly that the noise is not an issue. All I can say is this is perfect for summer or just having around all year to make fresh ice cream.

Compact and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nutribullet chill is sleek, compact and looks very nice on my countertop. It's not too heavy to move if needed and I appreciate the suction cups on the bottom to hold it down. Initial set up was super easy - fill a cup with blended ingredients (i used my nutribullet blender for that), put in freezer for 24 hours, take out and attach the blade attachment to the cup, put it in the machine, choose a setting, and off it goes! I liked that it came with multiple cups and a cover to put over the motor when not in use. I haven't been able to use every setting yet but the two settings I have used (ice cream and gelato) seemed to work well! It came out smooth and creamy and exactly what I hoped for. The only negative was that it seemed pretty loud like the blender and I was expecting it to be a bit quieter.

Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic product! It's compact so storage is easy and it doesn't take up much counter space. The touch screen is nice and doesn't over complicate things. I have used it for ice cream which is good but I would say is more soft serve consistency ( I think because the blade can get warm when mixing) as well as açaí bowls. The containers are great because they hold what I would consider 2 servings so you can have leftovers! Overall a wonderful and convenient product!! Would highly recommended

Effective and fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this ice cream maker this summer and it has been awesome for a treat for my kids. They enjoyed the creation. It is a process to make but if you want to be able to control ingredients it's a nice alternative.

Fun and delicious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free in exchange for my honest review. I was super excited to try this ice cream maker so I can make my own custom flavors! As a mom, my kids love having ice cream on hand so we couldn't wait to make something. All of our recipes came out great and the texture and consistency was smooth, creamy, and delicious. I found the machine easy to clean and store also. It was nice controlling the ingredients without additives and preservatives. The only thing I wish were different was that I could not make ice cream within the same sitting. You do have to freeze the ingredients overnight, so there is no instant gratification if you're craving something right away. Just something to keep in mind!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun product! It's a small, compact size compared to other ice cream machines. I appreciated that everything is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. It worked well and made nice, creamy ice cream. My recipe I used wasn't the best lol, but that's on me! I do wish it came with more than 2 cups. It's a bit involved to make the ice cream, so maybe more than 2 at a time would be nice. At this time, I didn't see where extra cups were available for purchase either. It's also extremely loud. I was a little taken aback. But, overall, a nice product!
