I will say it does take a little prep with the ingredients as you have to freeze the recipes for at least 24 hours, but it is worth the wait. They also have multiple recipes provided with the box as well as online through a QR code. I tried one of the gelato recipes, and it came out delicious! It makes the perfect little amount of ice cream (or smoothie bowl, gelato, etc.) which is normally about 4 servings. With the lids provided you can refreeze the ingredients and swirl them again when needed. In the instructions, it does mentioned sometimes running the ingredients twice (which I had to do) and it turned out great. The instructions overall are pretty simple, but it did take a bit of tinkering with the first time. It does not take up too much counter space but with the blades and containers you definitely need a little extra space in the kitchen to store everything. The machine also is decently loud, like most blending machines, but it was quieter than I expected. I really enjoy this machine and am excited to try out all the different settings and recipes! I have had ice cream makers in the past, but this one is by far my favorite!

You do have to plan your ice cream making ahead of time, you need to prep and freeze the base for your ice cream at least 24 hours in advance. Other than that, the ice cream comes out super soft, just how I personally like it. The machine is very compact so it fits nicely on our countertop, or is easily stored away in a cabinet. All the parts, except the base, are dishwasher safe, making it an easy cleanup!

I love my ice cream and gelato desserts, and this NutriBullet Chill makes desserts that taste so much better than store bought! My first attempt with it, it took me a minute or two to read through directions and figure out how to set up the cup and blade, but after figuring that out this is super simple to use. I tried Ricotta Cheesecake Gelato, and it was very simple to prepare and mix the day before, then took just a few minutes the next day to hook the cup up to the machine and make the gelato with the literal push of a button. It took maybe 2 minutes to make, then beeped and was ready to eat. The gelato was so delicious, my family loved it and it made enough for all of us! I would absolutely recommend this!

I've owned competitors similar appliances and I've got to be honest here, nutribullet leads the market here for efficiency as well. Their blade is a game changer. I believe the blade and power set its standards apart from the others and makes it a top dog. From a woman with an appliance cabinet dedicated to all her appliances this little baby is a great size! It's very well designed, I also appreciate the suction cups to the bottom of it!! It's the little things.

As a mom, my kids love having ice cream on hand so we couldn't wait to make something. All of our recipes came out great and the texture and consistency was smooth, creamy, and delicious. I found the machine easy to clean and store also. It was nice controlling the ingredients without additives and preservatives. The only thing I wish were different was that I could not make ice cream within the same sitting. You do have to freeze the ingredients overnight, so there is no instant gratification if you're craving something right away. Just something to keep in mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive the Nutribullet chill ice cream maker, easy to use put your ingredients in the canister freeze for 24 hours and place on the machine. It's not a large piece of equipment so it doesn't take up a lot of room, I would've preferred that it came with a recipe book unfortunately, it had a quick start guide and some recipes. Otherwise, you have to scan the QR code and it brought up some recipes and many other things I didn't need to be bothered with. I made vanilla the first time and it was good and then I made chocolate and it seemed a little icy, whereas the vanilla was more creamy. Of course it could've been the ingredients even though I did use the same whipping cream. There are settings to make ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, gelato, and a smoothie bowl. I have only done ice cream so far. Perhaps with practice I'll enjoy it more. There are no clear instructions to do add-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, peanut butter, etc., and if you put them in while freezing the mixture and then mix it up your add-ons will be pulverized. It has been suggested to make a hole in the center of the churned ice cream and swirl it around, I tried it with peanut butter did not work very well.

I can't say is a bad machine but I also can't say it does more than my blender. It mixes the ingredients well and the consistency is great. I tried making a mango sorbet and it came out as expected. If you already have a powerful blender at home this machine is not necessary but if you don't this can make a difference in your kitchen.
