I like that most of it is detachable to use for different things but this vaccum lacks battery power and to get an additional one takes forever as in its always sold out. The cleaning power is ok it does not pick up large paper bits. You are better off with a dyson in my opinion

I have had this shark vacuum for over a year now and I love it! I have a dog that sheds a ton, and it has such a strong suction and I love all the attachments that help me get in all the corners. It isn't super loud and doesn't disturb the whole house. I love how light it is and easy to carry up and down the steps! A great price point.

Both were gifted to me and if I had to go buy one myself I would 1000% go get a shark. My last vacuum I purchased was also a shark and it was phenomenal. The suction power is very high and the clean sense option is ideal! Picks up everything and anything easily, even pet hair. Hard wood to carpet it cleans very well! I love it. The best part for me is that it is very light. Still very well made and durable but not clunky or hard to pick up and move. I could go on and on about this specific vacuum that's how great it really is!!

Shark does not do battery design well. 10 to 15 minutes on Medium is all we are getting. Constant Battery Anxiety. Dust Bin is an Origami Puzzle. I have dumped the bin multiple times on a Clean Floor while still on the Vacuum. Flex Joint has developed Mechanical Arthritis and refuses to bend after only 4 months of Light Use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Shark vacuums! I own 3 Shark vacuums and they are all the best. The Shark Stratos is the ultimate vacuum. It has great suction, and a very long runtime for a cordless vac of 60 minutes in eco mode. It has an led readout that tells you how much power is remaining as you vacuum. I love that it folds in half for easy storage without having to mount to a wall. It stands up on its own. It's easy to charge and recharges pretty quickly. I typically don't like appliances with a lot of extra features a they usually don't add anything beyond the main use however this vac has some nice extras that work very well. The clean sense IQ power boost senses the need for more power to pick up heavy debris, boosts the power and then reduces once the debris load decreases. I like this feature although I can usually sense that need on my own and easily boost the power manually. I love that it has a HEPA rated seal. There's really no way to tell how well this works, you have to take their word for it but it's a nice feature. The self cleaning brush rollers works very well. My wife sews and we always have thread on the floor and it never builds up on these rollers. The odor neutralizer is another nice feature. My vacuum has never smelled, maybe that's why. This is a very well made vac from quality materials.The dust bin is clear and you can easily see when the bin is full and it's also very easy to empty with NO mess.

I've been really impressed with the shark cordless stratos vacuum. It has strong suction adjust automatically with clean sense IQ , and is very easy to maneuver. Cleans carpets and hard floors perfectly, picks up pet hair with no problem, and the battery lasts long enough for my whole home . I also love how lightweight and convenient it is for everyday cleaning . Highly recommended

Shark is my favorite brand I would love to have this one on how good they are and the quality is so amazing. They pic up so much from my flooring and carpets . It helps to keep your house nice and clean reaching all areas to maintain a house free of crumbs.

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews on battery run time, so I also bought the corded Stratos Stick Vac at the same time. I am so impressed with the Stratos Cordless that I ended up giving the corded Stratos Stick Vac to my daughter, still in the box. Here's why: #1. Power level options and battery run time. For hard surfaces I use the Eco setting and get the same greatresult as in the Clean Sense IQ mode. #2. Clean Sense IQ mode is gentle on delicate area rugs. For hand woven wool rugs the Clean Sense IQ is perfect for thorough cleaning without pulling wool fibers out of the rug. The Clean Sense IQ does what it's designed to do and no harsh bristles eating away at the fibers. A+ ! #3. Easy-to-use/ empty Dust Cup and easy storage. I've read some of the complaints about a small dust cup. Simple solution, empty the cup as you go! I can't imagine having floors so dirty that I can't get through a spin around the house and having to empty the dust cup more than once. #4. Side by side comparison with Shark Vertex Powered Lift-Away. After cleaning all floor surfaces with the Cordless Stratos, I went behind each floor with the Vertex Lift-Away. I was impressed by the lack of dirt / debris picked up with the Vertex Lift-Away .... virtually nothing in the dust bin. Odor neutralizer is pleasnt. Light dusting made easy on ECO setting. I would like to have a backup battery but they're always out of stock.

I bought the Stratos (the basic model IZ840H) 4 months ago. It's given me great performance on all floors and has great suction. My concern is that Shark released this vacuum without the ability to buy other accessories for it. I've gone back to the website multiple times only to see the most necessary accessories stay sold out. I can't fully use my vacuum for couch vacuuming or cleaning my car. It makes me at times thinking I should have gotten a different Shark vacuum. PS. I don't understand why Shark has different connectors for each cordless vacuum. For example, I should be able to use Vertex or Pet Plus accessories on my Stratos but I can't. It's a bit disappointing to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a huge furry golden retriever that sheds equivalent to a small child every day. This cordless vacuum has made the shedding manageable. I am able to zip around the house in high traffic areas and get the fur balls. It really picks up fur and hair well. I love that I don't get tangled in any cords. Highly recommend if you have a shedding pet!
