I traded my Apple Watch for the Garmin Venu 4 and first thoughts was how amazing the battery lasts. I've had it for a month and only charged it twice! I have an irregular sleep pattern due to working nights and it tracks every sleep I make. So many features are more accurate and function better than the Apple Watch ever could. I love it

I like a lot of the features the watch offers, but its execution is spotty. The wrist heart rate monitor is quite inaccurate and inconsistent, which I know both from years of working out and generally knowing my heart rate(ish) as well as wearing a chest strap when doing many workouts and seeing very different readings. This may not seem like a huge deal, but so many of the suggestions the watch gives are based on heart rate alone and or combined with other factors. So when tha variable isn't to be trusted, it really throws off the whole data set and subsequent suggestions. I do wear it snug and about an inch from my wrist bone. But I will say to wear it too snug irritates the nerve on the inside bone of my wrist, making my hand fall asleep. So I wear it snug enough to get data but not too much so. Still- the heart rate… Also, I feel like the sleep data is spotty. There are many times it says I fell asleep an hour after going to bed which I 100% know isn't true. I fall asleep very quickly. It also often decides to “call it” on my sleep if I awaken to use the restroom in the morning but still have over an hour of sleeping to do. So that's a bummer. But I do like the idea of the watch and the idea of having something help with training suggestions based on sleep, HRV and stress. So I will keep it but really wish I trusted it more. And probably would not buy another one. Finally- please add ballet as an “activity”. I can't believe gaming is on there but ballet isn't. ?!

I rarely write a review but I love this watch so much I decided to. I have tried the competitor watch. As a busy mom, that's not for me. I can't charge it daily. I love the screen on this watch, the fact I rarely need to charge it, and I use the flashlight when I got into my kids rooms in middle of the night or morning. I workout at orange theory and the heart monitor works perfectly. I was hesitant on this watch bc I had a couple of older garmins that were fine...but the upgrades to this one is noticeable and worth it to me!

I got the Venu 4 to upgrade from a Vivoactive that I had for a long time. I wanted to have a watch that did all my previous Garmin did with the addition of ECG. The Venu does that along with a number of other functions all available on a much more readable face. So far I'm quite impressed with this watch.

So far, I like this watch. The battery life is wonderful and I love the sleep tracking, training readiness, etc. I chose this over an apple watch for those reasons, and can't imagine going back. I dislike that 1) I get prompted to take an activity break while in the midst of activities lol and 2) how clunky it is to navigate around. I'm still figuring it out somewhat. I also found the watch super uncomfortable with the silicone band, but once I purchased a different band I didn't notice it at all.

I am so happy I bought this especially so I could follow my blood sugar numbers from my Dexcom. It works so well and I am very happy I bought this. I think it's easy to read but my biggest problem is getting out of a screen. All in all I love my Garmin watch.

Great experience so far with my first Garmin. After some research, I landed on the Venu 4 for the design and features. With that said, I do wish it carried over the five-button layout found on some other models, and I'd also love to see more options for quick-release bands.

I have worms a Garmin since 2014 while running because of the accuracy. i used my Apple Watch for everyday use. I just recently purchased the Venu 4 because my daughter moved from the Apple Watch to the Venu and loves it. I have moved to my Venu 4 for everyday use. It's nice to just have 1 watch for everything! I love this watch and would highly recommend it!

I bought it a month ago and it has worked great so far. The battery life is great although it starts draining quickly once you are at 20%. Still a full charge goes well over a week without issues. Love the design, the morning and evening reports, and all the configuration you can personalize for your needs.

I just bought this watch. I was upgrading the lily active 2 and this watch didn't even last me a few months. It completely died. It won't turn on or charge. I am so disappointed. I did email and I have not yet received a response. I haven't been able to track my gym sessions since I got rid of the lily active 2.
