I upgraded from the Venu (1) and am very pleased with all the new features! I am a marathon runner but like to have a smartwatch that I can wear to work without it screaming “I'm a running watch!” The Venu 4 checks both of those boxes for me. I also bought nylon wrist straps and prefer wearing those for comfort over the silicone ones that can irritate my skin.

I love my new Garmin watch. The running aspect of the watch is great. The GPS syncs fast. I am off and running. Golf app is easy to use once the course is downloaded. Easy to keep score while playing. I don't like the strength training feature. I doesn't record any calories burn. I tried switch to something similar to strength training doesn't record either. It's not to big of a deal. If I want to hit the set button every time I am sure it would work better. I forget when I am lifting weights. I love the classic look of the watch. The touchscreen is great much easier to use than recent Garmin's that where just buttons.

bought this a couple weeks ago. Very pricey and I definitely am not using it to its full potential, but I loved the battery life. Didn't think I'd use garmin pay as I always have my phone but it's nice for an emergency - though it doesn't support many of my banks which is disappointing. I love the customizability of the watch faces and your garmin status page so if that's a big thing to you, you won't be disappointed. I did not think I'd like the coached exercises, but they are pretty useful. I have not been able to use this for a hike or run, but for my purposes it's a bit extra/much since I don't do anymore super off grid hiking/trail running, and the golf features are fairly useless to me. But for something that offers looks, battery life, and a bit of durability, it's great. One note, the watch band options are disappointing. And honestly the main bell and whistle I got it for was the flashlight which has already been useful in random times. Will definitely need it for camping just as an emergency.

I've owned about five Garmin watches over the years, including the Fenix 8, Descent Mk3i, and Forerunner 970, and I can honestly say the Garmin Venu 4 (45mm) is my favorite overall. The first thing that stands out is the graphical interface. Garmin absolutely nailed the presentation on this watch. Everything is clean, modern, responsive, and incredibly easy to navigate. In my opinion, it's the best user interface Garmin has released to date. The Venu 4 offers an impressive amount of health and fitness metrics—just a step behind the Fenix and Forerunner flagship models—but still more than enough for the vast majority of users. The AMOLED display is gorgeous, battery life is excellent, and it feels like a true everyday smartwatch without sacrificing Garmin's outstanding fitness tracking. The only feature I wish it had is onboard maps with turn-by-turn navigation. If Garmin added mapping, this would easily be the best smartwatch in their entire lineup. Overall, Garmin knocked it out of the park with the Venu 4. It's comfortable, packed with features, and a pleasure to use every day. Without question, it's the best Garmin watch I've owned. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars

The touch screen is not a great feature. After I do a swim the watch face is wet and it will not scroll up to "save." So it is difficult to use. The Forerunner I had before was better. Also, there are way too many useless notifications. I don't need for it to tell me a lot of stuff I don't need to know. It's annoying.

Love this watch. I have small wrists and this doesn't feel too large or thick. It replaced my Music 645 that I've used for 6 + years. It's a great replacement for it. I love the touch screen and all the futures I now have. It's been great for running on the road and treadmill as well as hikes. The company was easy to work with!

This was a replacement for my Venu 2 Square, in which the battery failed, even though it had aged out of warranty and was no longer supported by Garmin, Very good after sale support by Garmin. The Venu 4 is much a more capable watch and I am still learning features but am very pleased with its sleep, steps, and heart rate tracking.

This is the second Garmin I have owned. My prior Vivoactive lasted for 5 years and was very versatile. The design of the new Vivoactive lines look cheap to me so I purchased the Venu as it looked closest to my old one. All is good with the watch except that I've learned that the Venu (because it's a lifestyle line) does not support direct connection from the watch to fitness equipment like my treadmill. This exception is very disappointing as my prior watch connected seamlessly. I would have expected all Garmin watches would have this option. Choose carefully if you want to display Garmin data on your fitness equipment.

I've had my watch for not quite a month yet and I love it. The activity options seem endless. Even the extra things like being able to track the moon phases is cool. I do a lot of stuff in the woods so the compass is really helpful. I was actually looking for a watch for work but wanted something with a little more spunk and this one is it! The battery life is really what sold me though with how long it lasts.

I am really enjoying this smart watch. I like how light this is compared to other smart watches, it has a few less buttons from other Garmin watches, but that is easy to get used to. You get a lot of the same utilities as the other garmin devices (I went from a 265s). Hands down I love the battery life on this (about 12 days)and charging it is extremely fast.
